Q: Where are these made?

I threw out the packaging a year ago when I first bought, so don't recall where the holders are made. But a year later they look lovely as they are holding magazines and stuff on a shelf.

Q: How would this work for organizing gift bags?

These storage boxes are 10" tall (at the tallest part) and 10" deep. If the gift bags aren't bigger than that, this should work.
