These socks help your skimmer catch all the finer debris in your pool, are easy to rinse clean, and are cheap enough to toss if they get too dirty. My only draw back is that they will float to the top of the skimmer if you do not weigh them down. I toss a couple small rocks in there and it works!

I have a inground pool. I doubled these they did work great on catching everything but, after a few weeks our pool turned green. We had our water tested over and over and over kept putting more and more chemicles in it to try to balance it. New filter, new sand hundreds of $$$ worth of chemicles we finally found out the double socks restricted the water flow and we weren't getting enough circulation. Totally took them off and rebalanced the chemicles and were finally back to crystal clear.
