20000+ Creeping Thyme Seeds for Planting -Perennial Ground Cover Plants Flowers Non-GMO Heirloom (Purple)

I am not sure how many seeds were in the packet, because they are very small. However, I planted them and they sprouted in a weeks time. Happy with my purchase.

I sowed the entire packet in two cleared and loosened soil strips (about 9' x 1.5') in my yard in late April. Now, two months later, not a single creeping thyme seed has sprouted. On the same day, I sowed clover in the rest of the yard using the same soil and care, and it flourishes into a lush, dense, slushy patch. Other herb seeds from various brands I planted at different times have also grown well. This shows the issue wasn't with the conditions or preparation. As a new grower, I don’t expect perfection, but getting zero germination is very disappointing. I’ve decided to try another brand.

The most crucial factor for bulk seeds is viability, and these were excellent. I followed standard procedures: preparing a smooth, shallow seedbed and misting regularly. I observed germination beginning within 10 days, and the overall rate was extremely high—likely over 85%. Tip: Don't bury these seeds! They need light to germinate. A thin dusting of sand or simply pressing them into the topsoil is enough.

Took forever and a day for something to germinate and what did was NOT CREEPING THYME! In fact I germinated another batch inside because I thought the seeds did no germinate because what came up looked like weeds. Unfortunately the weedlike plant was from the seeds I was sold. Talk about BAIT AND SWITCH!

Good germination, but I was unable to keep the weeds under control where I planted it. I ended up pulling them out and planting creeping phlox instead. Much larger plants made it easier to weed around.

I read such poor reviews on these seeds but decided to take a chance on this seller who's reviews were definitely better than other sellers. In addition I purchased peat pellets to germinate the seeds rather than chance planting them outside. 2000 seeds came in a tiny packet and I thought this can't be 2000 seeds. I ended up only using half of them (as I ran out of pellets and pots to plant them) and I have to say I am DELIGHTED with the results. They sprouted in just 3 days! I am keeping them indoors under a plant light until there is no more chance of frost and they get spritzed with water daily. I can't wait to plant them outside and see how they spread, so far they are growing rapidly. I attached a picture of my seedlings, only 6 days after planting them. I still have seeds left and need to purchase more peat pellets to plant the rest. Very happy with my purchase.

It's been a few weeks and I got no sprouts or anything. I would have been happy to get any activity from them but alas, I guess I'll have to stick to our regular grass. We have many hills here and I thought it would be beautiful with some color. We are in central PA, and the soil here appears to be very fertile. We have been getting a lot of rain lately and even the weeds are growing in lush and healthy - this pack didn't yield anything here.
