Purchase this blanket as an alternative to a heavier packable picnic blanket. Arrived in a small tote, about the size of a DVD case. I was skeptical about its size but when unfolded it holds two adults with plenty of room to move around. I deducted a star since the blanket traps moisture, so it can get sweaty when laying out in the sun.However it worked great as a tarp during a freak rainstorm. I bought the blanket in case we wanted to have a picnic but ended up using it to cover ourselves when the skies suddenly opened up. Not a drop of water seeped through and we were able to escape relatively dry. It also dried very quickly so that it can be packed up in its little bag.

I didn't get a chance to spread it out on the beach because it was SOOO windy. I was rock collecting anyway, so I ended up wrapping myself in the blanket for wind resistance and it was wonderful. It's a really nice material, the stakes look good quality and it was easy to shake off and fold up and put back in the pouch. I can't wait to actually use it to sit on.

I love the size of this thing. By looking at the bag it comes in you would have no ide bag it is the size of a queen sized bed (as pictured). And no joke o us no problems folding up an ole way and getting it into the bag it came in with extra room for the spikes and a few empty baggies so I always have something to put my personals in. Pretty impressed with the simplicity yet no wrestling with it to get back in the bag

I’ve used this at a music festival AND the beach and love it for both occasions! It is so easy to pack and clean and the pikes (the stick things to poke into the ground) are very convenient for windy days.

Great for camping, used it as a mat in front of the tent and it worked perfectly. Easy to clean, folds nicely. The pegs kept it in place.
