Good fit on my old lawn tractor.
Since my lawn tractor is 25 years old (model number 42819X92A) I thought it might be hard to find the right replacement drive belt but this one was exactly what I needed. It's a genuine OE Murray belt and looks to be more robust than the one it's replacing.

Fits just right with fast delivery
Drive belt on my 20+ year old Huskee tractor 14 hp 42 inch fell off. Went to my local TSC and they didn't have the 36 x 71 inch motion drive belt in stock. Grass was getting tall and needed a replacement quick. Belt fell off on Monday, ordered new one that night, got belt on Wednesday and installed that night, mowing on Thursday. I am very pleased with the belt and the neighbors are happy that the nature preserve is back to a lawn. The belt fit like OEM, not too loose and not to tight. Very difficult snaking the belt around the pulleys, but that is related to the tractor design, not the belt.

had a sloppy movemenr on my old mower
this belt was the correct length, however with this old mower, worn pulleys etc, it was a little sloppy when in gear. so I ordered a belt 1 inch shorter.

Hard-to- find lawnmower parts at reasonable prices
Parts for my 12-year old Murray riding lawnmower are becoming more and more hard to find locally, but I found everything I needed on Amazon.com. I ordered two belts and a set of blades, and when they arrived all were original Murray parts in original packaging. And the prices were as good as I could have done locally, if all parts had been available locally.

FIX THAT SLOW GO BURNING SMELL
Bought this just in case, which turned out to be last Saturday when my old Murray quit moving in anything except first gear. Replaced the belt, which required a clutch adjustment, and now I have to learn to engage the clutch smoothly again! If your clutch pedal isn't where it should be and the adjuster is about out of thread, it's time to do this.Changing this belt is nowhere as easy as the blade belt, because the belt runs around both sides of other components, which you'll have to get out of the way for the installation. I suspect most will farm this job out.

The drive belt was exactly what I needed and works great. The last belt lasted 15 years so I expect this one will last as long.
