This was suitable for many stages of dementia
This was a great product for my hubby with dementia as we know dementia goes downhill and they lose abilities, but this worked really well when we started we could play dominoes together with them and then later on I got him to match and find the missing ones with the cards provided and now we’re just to the stage where they’re pretty, and they make noise when he clicks them on the table But really they’ve just been fantastic

Great game to play with my grandma!
I got this to play with my grandmother who has dementia. I had to modify how we play for her current limitations. Finding the correct domino amongst all the other dominoes was too hard for her. However, if the domino she is looking for has 1 purple dot, I separate out all the 1 dot dominoes, so she only has those she has to choose from. She does great with this adaptation! We have played this twice and she was much better the second time so I'm hoping with continued practice I won't have to limit her choices forever. But even if I do, any excuse to interact with her is a win in my book. Highly recommend!

Challenging but not hard enough to discourage. Also has different levels of skill
I wanted something to keep my husbands mind active.. this “game” is perfect… a challenge for him, but still easy enough to keep his interest. There are different levels and the pieces are easy to read. I would highly recommend for early to mid dementia onset

Good but colors don’t match
Great activity to do with my mom with dementia. She used to play dominoes so there is some muscle memory there, but colors on dominoes do not match the colors on activity sheets for example 4 is green on domino but black on sheet. 3 is yellow on domino but orange on sheet. These mismatches confuse and frustrate my mother. Where intended for those with cognitive impairment more care should have been taken to match very closely. If fixed this would 5+ stars.

Great For Dementia Patients
I ordered this to use for my patient with dementia. She loves it and it provides hours of entertainment and very soft and easy to use for her. It’s nice quality and patients with dementia really seem to enjoy it

absolutely wonderful for mom with dementia
I have tried giant word finds, crosswords, easy painting, etc. and this is the first "game" that my mom with dementia felt engaged by. Perhaps it has something to do with the tactile act of picking up and moving the pieces. The dominos are large with a nice weight to them and very attractively painted. It comes with several thick boards that fit nicely into the wooden frame and you match the pieces to the pictures on the board. I love that it comes with different level and even some with actual numbers instead of the dots. The game was more difficult for her to do than I would have guessed, so it depending on the dementia stage it may be done alone or with someone. It may also help you assess the level of dementia your loved one is dealing with. Sometimes they speak so clearly and because they know who you are or some other basics you don't realize what they actually cannot figure out on their own. This is a very well made game and I cannot recommend it enough.
