Nice little tool
I bought this tool as a ice cube holder but the advertisement says it’s for sugar cubes. I haven’t heard from my daughter if this works for her or not!

For SO many uses other than ice cubes
VERY pleased with these tongs. I bought them for ice cubes when my old tongs disappeared. I have been using them in cooking to grab slippery meat in the pan. Or lifting cherries from a jar. For just about anything you need to grab, these tongs will work because they have teeth.

The metal of the tongs wasn't what I expected it's thinner. Also the teeth weren't as separate. But the do wrong. I expected better quality from the picture

Mind your grip, the back of these can pinch!
These work exactly as expected, with only one caveat. The "opening" spring to keep the tongs open can cause the back side (near your palm) to pinch your skin. So long as you mind how you hold these, it's not a problem. The wedge shape of these works great for breaking up ice cubes that are stuck together!
