A1: 4-5 coats (3 min drying in between coats) plus a clear top coat. Nice touch to plain, clean nails. I added the extra coats for a little more pop of the pink color to hide little nail flaws. It’s a clear sheer with a pink tint, like described. So don’t expect it to be like a light polish color. Very nice product, I’ll be buying more!

I absolutely LOVE this base coat polish! I have never really liked (or been able to maintain) regular nail polish, especially the darker colors. I also can’t be bothered with much more than a quick coat every 10 days or so. This fabulous Gellen tinted base coat lets me have my cake and eat it too: I simply apply it and it not only keeps my nails from breaking as much as they used to, it also adds a very pleasing tint that only slowly recedes and fades. PERFECT. The red color so far is my favorite, but I expect I’ll try the other colors as the weather turns toward Spring, etc. Totally recommend, especially if you’re lazy like me!

This nail polish dries very fast and goes on smooth and silky. The finish looks great, but the smell is very strong, so good ventilation is definitely needed. I ordered this polis because it said “nontoxic” but the smell makes me wonder that it’s got some toxic qualities.

This is a great base coat with a tiny bit of sheer white added (almost undetectable until 3+ coats are applied). Does not dry with a shine so a top coat is needed if shine is desired.

It looks great right after putting it on, but I have given it enough time to see the result and it comes off quite quickly.

I got the A3 base coat and love it! I did 2 coats and it really smoothed out my nails. I love the color; very shiny!

This clear base coat works really well. It applies smoothly, dries fast, and helps my manicure last longer. It gives a nice clean finish and works perfectly under gel or regular polish. Great quality for the price. I would definitely buy it again.
