8 x M6 Connecting Bolt, Flat Headed, Bronzed, Cot Bunk Bed, Hex 45mm

Bought these for a project but misunderstood the length as being the overall length - in fact the 45mm described actually refers to 'X' on the diagram of the second image, which is effectively the threaded section only. The entire length from the flat of the head is more like 50mm. So I'll have to get the hacksaw out, but I guess better to be too long than too short! Otherwise as described, M6 thread with a bronzed finish to complement the project :)

Bought to replace missing bolts for a cot bed. Those we bought from B&Q didn't quite fit, a different thread, but these are exactly the same as the originals and just the job.

Arrived earlier than expected. We're a little too large for my cat but we're of good quality.

Just plain didn't work. The pitch of the original Mothercare bolts is a coarse metric thread of 1.25. The bolts received were the fine (standard?) pitch of 1.00. NOBODY selling these bolts ever mentions the pitch - just the diameter (M6) and length. I found that a 1/4-20 imperial size is so close the the M6, 1.25, that such bolts will work. That is what I ended up using to put the crib together. The 1.25 pitch M6 bolts are difficult to find. Maybe the 1/4-20 UNC is more available. Hope that helps other people needing these bolts.
