Two packs on offer are brilliant for my expresso maker.
Just arrived as I had celaned my machine and ready to use. Brilliant. I ordered a 2 pack on a deal and stocked up. Good value for money, strong coffee, caffeinated, functions well in my expresso machine. As always Lavazza beans roasted nicely and the crema is always nice. I tend to do a 2 shot expresso and then put 2 x 2 and 1x1 into a cup. I then divide the coffee and crema between 2 mugs and top up with milk and a shot of Tate and Lyle Vanilla syrup and make a great strength coffee. I am not into black coffee, but do like a nice quality coffee over instant.

⬇️Yeah, what he said ⬇️ 😂
Found the enclosed review and thought it one of the most entertaining reviews I have ever read! So, just in case you missed it, see below… Although personally I have never considered it to be a good idea for me, myself and I to go and stay alone in “a cabin in the woods” because the chances are too high that I also would end up talking to the furniture 😂 I have been trying to find an alternative to Illy ‘Forte’ ground coffee which has been my regular coffee for quite a long time now. However, I can no longer find it for sale anywhere and have wasted far too much money looking for something to replace it in my affections - and finally I came across this, Lavazza, (pre ground) ‘Espresso Barista Intenso’… This is delightfully smooth and without a lingering bitterness, yet strong and flavourful and the bitterness (which is natural to all coffees to one degree or another) gives way to a lasting ‘creaminess’ in the finish - very much like the Illy ‘Forte’. If you appreciate that kind of flavour profile in your coffee, then I recommend you try this. However, as excellent as I have found this coffee to be as a replacement, should I be able to find a reliable stockist for the Illy ‘Forte’ (despite the reviewer making claims that the Lavazza Intenso has the ability to save one’s sanity - and I could probably do with all the help I can get in that department 😅) I shall be returning to it, my Moka pot one true love - and insanity be damned! 😂 ✌🏾❣️ “Lavazza: The Coffee That Keeps Me Sane (More or Less) in a Secluded Cabin ☕✨☕ Reviewed in Spain on 16 October 2024 Flavour Name: Intenso, Size Name: 250 g (Pack of 1) ☕ When I embarked on the brilliant idea of renting a cabin in Asturias to “work remotely and reconnect with myself”, I didn't think that I was actually registering for a spiritual retreat featuring my inner demons and an internet connection that seemed to come straight from the 19th century. So how did I survive? Lavazza Espresso Barista Perfetto, and I say this without exaggeration. This coffee was my light in the dark... and I'm not just talking about the sunrise that took three hours to arrive. 🌲 Coffee, demons and some remote work (hopefully): The cabin looked like something out of a catalog. Perfect in photos, but in real life, things were different. It all felt a little too... alive. As if the walls could talk and the trees were judging me for procrastinating. So there I was, with one foot in reality and the other in what seemed to be the beginning of a third-rate horror novel, struggling to get the energy to work. It was at that moment that I did the only sensible thing: I turned on the espresso machine, opened my Lavazza Barista Perfetto package and let the black magic (coffee) possess me. The first sip was like a slap of clarity. Floral notes, they said. I honestly don't know what kind of flowers they were, but they sure woke me up. All of a sudden, the world made sense (well, more or less) and I was ready to face the five open tabs of my browser that I hadn't touched in three hours. There, between the keyboard and the espresso, I found a way to rip my brain out of the “cabin zombie” state. 🌸💻 ☕ Proof of haunted cabins and impossible deadlines: The most interesting thing about this coffee is that I tried it in the French Press and in the espresso machine, and in both ways it was like a shield against laziness. In the French Press, the softness of the floral notes made me feel like I was in a very strange version of “The Shining”, only that, instead of freaking out, I was becoming efficiently productive (and a little paranoid). In the espresso machine, however, it was more direct, as if Lavazza were saying: “Dude, you have emails to answer, let's get to work.” And there I was, writing as if I were saving the world... when in reality I was just trying to fix a PowerPoint presentation. 🌿 The floral power that keeps me sane (sometimes): The floral notes are soft, yet deceiving. Like a friend who seems adorable, but who's actually plotting something. You feel the sweetness, but after a couple of cups, you realize that you're on a rollercoaster of energy and productivity. Lavazza Barista Perfetto isn't just coffee, it's the medicine you need to combat the syndrome of “why the hell did I rent a haunted cabin to work remotely”. 💻 Stay sane with espresso and laughter: I remember a particular day, when the wind howled, and I no longer knew if the sounds were coming from outside or if it was my own mind falling apart. I made myself an espresso with this coffee, and while drinking it, I realized: no matter what the cabin wants from me, no matter if the trees are plotting behind my back, as long as I have my Lavazza Barista Perfetto, everything will be fine... or at least well enough to finish my reports on time. 🌟 In short: The Lavazza Espresso Barista Perfetto is more than a coffee, it's the ultimate survival tool for those moments when life (or a cabin in the middle of the woods) is driving you crazy. I hope this review inspires you to try it, because when your sanity is hanging by a thread, a cup of this coffee can be the difference between productivity and talking to furniture. ☕💀✨”

Good Italian Espresso coffee
Ideal for the Mokka or to blend with another coffee, as I do, to add extra oomph

Great Quality Coffe.
Really good quality, rich cream and intense flavour. Maybe too strong as expresso but it really gives cappuccinos a balanced flavour.

Great coffee
Excellent coffee, used in Moka pot and in filter coffee machine. Great especially when paired with barista oat milk

It's good, but not great.
Try Amazon's own brand coffee as it's cheaper and comparable, in my opinion.

Although you will get a few months old stock but the experience is good for making latte and cappuccino. Highly recommended if you like the chocolaty vibe from your coffee. Great start for your morning.
