Another example of something that used to be in grocery stores and now is only on Amazon. I used to get the packets, and the small jars of this sauce. Haven't seen it anywhere for years. Even the Frontera website doesn't sell it anymore, and they used to. This is by far the best mix, and I've tried lots. I use maybe 1/4 of the packet for a whole medium avocado, and that perfect. Add nothing else, although sometimes I'll finely chop some onions and add very little. Also small chunks of fresh tomatoes on occasion. It doesn't overpower the subtle avocado taste; which their spicy red package one does.

If you only use this as the recipe calls, it's OK, but not spectacular. I use one package, double the number of fresh avocados. I add the juice from a half of a lime, and my fav hot sauce. From there you can add what you like. I add diced onion, roasted sweet corn and sometime fresh chopped tomatoes. Sadly, stores around me no longer carry this product or the spicy version. Right now I can only get it on Amazon. Be sure to watch for the seller and look at shipping costs. One seller had the shipping cost more than the cost of this product.
