I found this book to be absolutly amazing. I would recommend this book to any blended family, as it has given my (used to be) blended family quality. I found it to be more than just a book; it has given my family the tools and understanding beyond what I expected. I also love that it is bible based; it was the icing on the cake. After concluding we are a solid unit now (after 5 years of just being together - we have married), rather than a couple with seperate households. If I could give this book 10 stars I would!If you currently have a blended family; It would be a great blessing to your family to purchase this book along with the workbook. Perfect for beginning a blended families ministry.

I've read some other books on blended families but this was has a biblical approach. If you are looking for a book that will give you quick answers, this isn't the book for you.This books looks as the responsibilities of both spouses and what it will take to keep your marriage together. Case in point, keeping God in the center of it.Core areas, such as discipline, dealing with an ex-spouse and bring two families together are discussed. Practical information is given and no sugar coating is done in this book.

This book is simply written and an easy read. We are raising our children according to scripture and I love how she pulls out words from God in order to make this work. We have had a very hard blending five children and the minute I feel things get a little hectic, I refer to the book.I started with other books and put them down and immediately put out a note on FB asking for a book that could really help and more than one response directed me to this book.Its a great start.

I had purchased this book not only for my family but also for work. I have not been able to find it since being loaned out, and not remembering who to. Even though it is absolutely worth paying full price for, I needed to be a little thriftier and I was able to find it, used and at a decent price. The book is in excellent condition and the shipping time was appropriate and I am very satisfied.

I would recommend this game to any family who is currently blending or considering blendind. I have referenced this book many times. I keep it handy especially when we have issues with the children arrise. I really love how the book is couple driven and helps put priorities in order. The aspect that is continually expressed is couples can make it work and compromise is key. GREAT REFERENCE and READ! A++++

The front cover has a glaring omission from the title. This book is a Christian guide to blended families, and is written entirely from this perspective with biblical references throughout. I should have read more of the description as I am not a Christian and found the book actively unhelpful.
