These lights are bright. For years, the church had incandescent par 56 lights in 500w and 300w to light up the altar area. The heat burden was really quite high, especially for Priests and other clergy in heavy brocaded vestments. The total electrical burden of the lights alone was 4,200w! With the Leds installed, the total heat burden effectively became zero, and the electrical burden went down to 412w. With the old lights, one would burn out every year or so, and as these lights are mounted at the apex of a 30 foot cathedral ceiling, a scaffold would have to be erected to change them out. The LEDs will last for years.

Work great and fit well in the Oase under water light fixture. Runs so much cooler that a standard par-56 300 watt light.

Received quickly and on time in Italy.Works very well, with homogeneous light distribution, good intensity, and a nice warm tone. Hence, it proved a great improvement over the original tungsten lamp I had in use (uneven distribution, and high electrical load of course). There is a 1-4 seconds delay when switching on (depending on whether started anew, or was on shortly before). A bit strange, but of no consequence since this lamp is intended to "stay on" for diffuse illumination.It is perhaps worth noting that the real lamp is labelled: 100-240 volt, as opposed to the suggested "120 volt" in the Amazon_US web page. European customers needing a replacement working at 120volt (e.g. with the Flos Toio "lampada da terra - Castiglioni 1962") could request a confirmation from Amazon in Europe, and buy there the very same lamp (I assume) at a much lower cost.

can I replace this product BL-PAR56-28W to BL-PAR56-36W so that I can use to my project I Bought the 28 watts and it not fit it can I return it or replace it with BL-PAR56-36W.

These bulbs were ordered to replace florescent bulbs in ten (10) cans above the pulpit and choir area of our sanctuary. Our Trustees were glad I was able to order them thru Amazon. Thanks.

I really liked the build of these lamps. The light out put was much lower than expected. my wife said that they would not do. I need to return them

Bright, dimmable and 1/10th the wattage of standard bulbs plus less heat. With the standard bulbs I've had to replace the sockets because of the heat and arcing. Doesn't quite have the same coverage as a standard bulb and has slight shadowing on our island but not the floor which is lower
