It's a good jack

People like to bury their jack in the trunk. This is one jack that is very lightweight yet it lifts 2 tons. It has a great working ratchet handle. It comes in a very nice carring case. It's the same jack that works on practically all cars.

This jack is rated at 2500 lbs, but bent after lifting one tire on my 3200 lb BMW, so maybe 1200 lbs. The car wheels were chocked and the car didn't move. I compared the threads with the scissor jack from my Honda and they are much wider, which reduces the lifting power. A waste of money!

So I gave this product three stars because although it is a great jack and can support the weight that is listed, it’s extremely hard to use. The ratcheting wrench for this jack seemed extremely flimsy and does not give you a lot of room to move. It takes a lot of effort in order to make the jack move once it has weight supported on it. So it will probably take about 30 minutes to 45 minutes to fully jack up whatever it is, in my case, our car. it is very convenient that it is travel size but again when it takes 30 minutes to fully check out the vehicle, it makes it extremely difficult to use. It also has a surface on top that is not flat and not changeable so it almost looks like it’s going to break when you use it or bend severely. It does not do those things surprisingly so in terms of durability it’s fantastic. It seems to be stable and despite the flimsiness of some of the parts it hold its own pretty well. I would recommend only if you need something in a hurry. Otherwise it might be worth investing a little bit more to find a better quality product, especially so the car doesn’t fall on top of you.
