I never go anywhere without it.
The best, most useful little knife EVER! The pen, the little light, and tiny scissors are so very useful, I notice it if I leave this knife at home. It's definitely an everyday carry. Vitorinox steel quality holds an edge easily. There is a pen when you can't find one and need it most. The light is easy to use while you are using the pen as well.I only wish Vitorinox would bring back the red light. The white light ruins your night vision. The only other drawback is that the small size makes it easy to lose, but just be careful. Use your coin pocket or attach it to your keychain. Likewise, the small size will make you forget you have it on you when traveling, and the TSA will take it. Just don't forget to put it in your checked bags. I love this little guy so much, I have even gotten out of the security line and mailed it to myself at the airport just to keep from losing it. LOL.

An incredibly useful tool that's no longer than your thumb.
I bought the Midnite minichamp because of how versatile it seemed to be, but I was still blown away at just how small it is when I got it -- it's no longer than your thumb, and weighs about the same as a pack of gum. And yet it's packed with features. The blades are small but perfectly serviceable. The philips head screwdriver is typically Victorinox -- it fits incredibly well in screws large and small. I used it to disassemble part of a laptop not because I had nothing else to do it with, but because it was better than the dedicated screwdrivers I had. The scissors are quite serviceable, and the pen is actually easy to use.The two killer features on this knife, however, are the "orange peeler", and the flashlight. The "orange peeler" may peel oranges -- I really have no idea. What it does do is *safely* cut everything from boxes and packing tape to clamshell packaging. And I emphasize "safely", because that's not the case of any blade whatsoever. This would also be ideal for cutting seatbelts and clothes in an emergency. The light is quite bright, far more than is necessary to find a keyhole or whatever. I use it for walking in the dark and it's great. I'd suggest buying a strip of 10 or so replacement batteries along with the knife -- it'll only cost $6.00 or $7.00, and it'll avoid you rationing your light use needlessley. The only questionable thing on this knife is the cuticle pusher/coke spoon. But I suppose it is part of Victorinox's long tradition of putting at least one useless tool on every knife. Doesn't hurt anything, but it really could have been replaced by something more useful, like for example a mini-saw or mini-metal saw/file.

My Daily Go-To of All My Swiss Army Knives!
I have been a Swiss Army knife owner for almost 40 years now, ever since receiving my first one way back when I was a Cub Scout. I still have most of them and can say that I have ALWAYS been impressed with the quality, craftsmanship, and ingenuity of these knives.I had one of the Rambler series knives on my keychain for years, that is until my college-aged daughter used it one day and decided she REALLY liked it and would find it very useful. So, with the puppy dog eyes and many "pleases", I gladly relinquished to her the Rambler I had carried in my pocket for many years. This was a win-win the way I saw it. She got a great knife she really liked and I got to start the process for shopping for a new knife!!I had my heart set on just getting another Rambler when I stumbled across the Minichamp. I assumed it would be just a slight upgrade from the Rambler with a few extra tools - and with a pen and LED light thrown in for good measure! Was I ever impressed when I first opened the box and laid my eyes on the Minichamp for the first time! It was like a micro version of the bigger Swiss Army knives I have owned for years. One of the drawbacks to most Swiss Army knives is that they are almost too bulky to carry in your pocket and if you do have one on your person, it's inside a sheath attached to your belt. So, most of my Swiss Army knives are either in my dresser drawer, desk, or backpack and not readily accessible for use.Not so with the Minichamp! This knife is like the best of both worlds in the Swill Army universe! It has a nice assortment of tools for day-in & day-out use and it is VERY portable and can be carried in you pocket. I have mine attached to my key ring.To be sure, it is not as robust and strong as its bigger brothers, but for my purposes in the work-a-day world of office life, it fits the bill perfectly! On a side note, the battery for the LED light lasted about 7 months and was easily replaced. (Picked up a couple of batteries as Amazon Add-On items for about $4 each.)I'm glad my daughter set her eyes on my old Rambler now so that I would have the opportunity to get one of these Minichamps!!

Outstanding Swiss Army Knife- keychain
The craftsmanship is fantastic. This minichamp is thicker than other SAK keychain knives, but it is beautiful and it has many tools. The light works very well by pressing on the Victorinox symbol. The tools all work well, The pen works fine. Although thicker than others, this will likely cover all your needs as a wonderful EDC. If you want the tweezers and toothpick, I would recommend additionally carrying a 2 layer knife such as a Spartan or any other Swiss Army Knife with Cellidor scales). This would give you larger blades for cutting food in addition to the scale tools on the Spartan. The minichamp also has the nice Phillips head and a scissors. Two small knife blades, an orange peeler which can be used to getting the plastic material out of the top of jars and opening packages. There are multiple other tools. Even though there are some tools that you may not use as often, this minichamp costs only a little more, and you get a lot more.
