Have they got sharp spikes on them

I am sorry it was a very good cotton palm but unfortunately the frost we had it couldn't survive

I have received my palm in a 10 inch pot and quite tall. Do I need to replant in a larger pot? To keep more stable.

When we received our palm we repotted to a larger pot where it has tripled in size and is such a healthy ,lovely looking plant.

Hi,I bought two Washingtonians palms lastYear and living by the sea in North Wales,Which is right by the Gulf Stream we have a very pleasant micro climate, quite Simply I made two circular holes in the lawn allowing room to cut the edges and planted them.I have been very lucky with the garden and apart from Green Thumb treating the lawn I have done nothing to them.They are growing well as are several fig trees and Date palms.Sorry I could not be more help.RegardsTony
