Overpriced but too cute to resist, once the 2 bags of minuscule Shortbread Fingers are consumed (which happens pretty fast) you can restock the metal container with maybe 3-4 boxes of the full-sized Shortbread Fingers to use as storage!Actual contents are great, per usual, aside from the fact that the pieces get crushed so they get even smaller.

Just remember that the can looks bigger in the photo...read the ounces size. It's good for a gift or simply enjoy them with coffee/tea. There are cheaper ones (shortbread cookies) at the stores, but I really enjoy these.

The commemorative tin is very nice and will serve me well as storage once the delicious cookies are gone.

More cookies broken than not and nothing in its original place just flung all about the inside packaging. That being said I did buy it 60% for the tin and 40% because I was craving shortbread. As far as the cookie quality goes..... meh. I can get better domestically in the U.S. but I'm definitely eating everything in this tin without much complaint. Don't gift this unless you have the chance to inspect it first for disarray. I do like the tin and am confident King Charles will do an outstanding job of safeguarding my sewing notions once the shortbread have been consumed.Pros: novelty and nostalgiaCons: broken bland shortbreads

I purchased our favorite Shortbread cookies in the iconic red double decker bus because our family tradition is to always take a hop-on hop-off tour of the city on our first day of vacation. And ANY double decker bus tour in any city reminds us of the London buses !I ordered one for each of my boys to have in their own homes as a fun reminder. The cookies are THE BEST shortbread cookies (“biscuits”) of any others , imho. So that’s a win-win for us ! The bus top is a lid that fits snugly but not tightly, so kiddos could use it to store matchbox cars or crayons or any other group/collection …. And adults can too ! One of my sons has it on his dresser to toss change into & the other has it in his kitchen as the “hidey hole” for his measuring cups & spoons to keep them handy for his bread making/ baking days ;) I keep mine in my kitchen to keep my cookies in, so I always know where the shortbread is 😂

These are so good, my favorite snack by far. Love the tin they came in.
