Great Pokemon Go Plus replacer
If you play BOTH Pokémon Go and Let's Go, this is amazing. It's very easy to pair and reacts way faster than Pokémon Go Plus. The vibration is not as loud as Go Plus' and you can disable the sounds so that won't accidentaly make noises at improper places. You can take a Pokémon for a stroll from Let's Go, which will level up and gain candies there, also while a Pokémon is inside the ball, it will AUTO collect Poké Stops in Pokémon Go (only Poké Stops, though). Sadly, you CAN'T disable the VIBRATION, so you can't leave it on a table or use in really silent places, but the vibration is pretty loudless. For GOTCHA players, it's not way better since it WON'T auto catch as well, only auto spin. Since it's ball shaped, even though it's smaller than a common Poké Ball, it's still shaped as a ball, so it won't fit very good in your pockets because it's bigger than both Gotcha and Go Plus. The battery is ok, lasts a few days and charges pretty quickly. The box also contains a recharging cable so you won't need the charging stand unless you want it. You can also charge with Nintendo Switch's AC adapter. Also, the Mew bonus from purchasing can only be redeemed ONCE, so don't split it with your friends if you pretend to share Mew's.

Neat Pokemon Go accessory.
It seems to be a bit hit or miss with pokeballs, whether they track steps for hatching eggs in Pokemon Go. Mine does. My SO's does not, though both balls will autospin pokestops. Really great to have if you're walking around an area with lots of stops, but don't want to be staring at your phone constantly. Tends to be a little tetchy about staying paired with my phone, I have to reconnect it every couple of hours or so. Haven't really tried it at catching pokemons, and only use it a little with Let's Go on my switch. You cannot use it to transfer pokemon between Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu. Documentation and instructions for the ball are sadly lacking, but you can find some information on line. If you have more than one pokeball in your household, definitely mark them so you can tell which is whose, because if you try to pair the wrong ball with your switch or your phone, you'll lose all the progress whatever pokemon in the ball has made to that point.

Love it
I absolutely love this. It works great for playing Pokemon Lets Go and I could not imagine the experience playing without it. It fits perfectly in your hand and has just the right amount of weight to it. It also does not feel or look like a cheap product. As for using it for Pokemon go it works by pressing the button when pokemon are in range with a 50/50 chance to catch. It does however auto spin stops which has been perfect for driving around town and hitting stops without having to find places to part to hit them manually. All you have to do is turn off the pokemon notification and it will focus solely on auto spinning stops for you. Great for the park and zoo without having to have your phone in hand staring at a screen to spin stops.

Awesome, but needs updating!
This is a fun controller for the new Pokémon Let's Go games, but certain aspects of this controller make it seem like Nintendo REALLY needs to update the firmware. The bad: First, there is no way to easily get to the home menu and end your play session when you are using this as a controller. You need to use a Joycon to get yourself to the home menu, or press the power button on your Switch. This gets annoying, because when you're using the PBP as your primary controller, the Switch doesn't want to let you connect a pro controller even if you just want to use it to go home. In the game, you can shake the PBP to use it as the X/Y button...sometimes. This doesn't work when you're in battle. If you shake the PBP to see details about attacks (Y) it will not work. I've also noticed this happen in other menus like the clothing trunk. Seems like a small oversight, but gets annoying. The battery life seems lacking. To my knowledge there is no way to see a warning about low battery life! The Switch fully prevents you from using the PBP to go to the home or quick settings menu, so you can't see the battery level icon. I found that this will last 5-6 hours, then suddenly die. Luckily it seems to charge in about a 2-3 hours (but it doesn't alert you when it's full, so I wouldn't know). The good: Other than the software/firmware issues, this is so fun to use! I love that I can feel like I'm actually throwing a Poké Ball at the Pokémon on my TV! The wrist strap and ring makes sure the PBP is secure in your hands. The controller is also good for moving in the game, but sometimes it's hard to orient your character because you're using a circular joystick on a sphere, so you often lose your orientation if you move it in your hands slightly. Mew: Quite simply, you get one Mew per Poké Ball Plus. This is tied to the serial number so once you claim Mew that's it. You also can not soft reset for nature, Pokémon Let's Go saves as soon as you claim your Mew. You can't take your own Pokémon on strolls until you claim Mew, but otherwise you can claim Mew at any point in the game from the Communication menu. The extra: Taking your Pokémon for strolls is cute, and you can choose to play with your Pokémon my holding down the joystick. I also love that you can connect this to Pokémon Go and use it as an enhanced Pokémon Go Plus. Rumor has it, that if you connect it to Pokémon Go while you have a Pokémon on a stroll from Pokémon Let's Go, that Pokémon will automatically spin PokéStops for you! Conclusion: I think the Poké Ball Plus is a wonderful and fun idea, but some updating is definitely needed to smooth out the hiccups.

Free Mew
I bought this so I could complete my pokedex in Let's Go Eevee & Pikachu. Item arrived in good working condition.

I’ve had this for awhile now and I feel it’s earned it’s 5 star review; it’s most helpful however if you own the Switch and use PokémonGo on the mobile app as trading is about the only way to fully fill out your PokéDex. Seems to track distance very well and has a useful silent function for if you’re PokémonGo-ing on the go, spins Pokéstops most efficiently if you turn off the Nearby Pokémon notification setting as it will not spin it automatically if you’re in range of the stop and a Pokémon at the same time. Otherwise pretty cool and versatile, fairly useful for children even as mine has been dropped and still functions perfectly. I would recommend the warranty purchase however just in case and of course the adorable and legendary Mew is a bonus for Switch too. All in all, would 100% purchase more for family and friends. Good price for the value and useage as well.

Amazing product. It works as it is displayed. It also comes with a wrist strap that you can wrap around the button and it will auto catch Pokémon and also spin stops. other then it being over priced. Its worth it over the 3rd party devices
