Don't know how long they will last,but the cartridge installed without any problems. Print quality is very good. I consider these a good value. Would recommend.

These are AWESOME! I have had my brother laser printer for years but have not used in recent years because the toner was so expensive, one cartridge use to be $85 and while it lasted a lot longer than ink jet printers I just hated spending that much money on toner so I would go out and purchase a cheap ink jet printer cause it was more cost effective for me however the cheap printers always have issues after a short while and the ink would run out so quickly and even quicker now that my college son was using it. Desperate I pulled out my Brother printer, ran over to Walmart since they showed the toner it in stock for $59 which I though was a bargain. When I arrived it was not available. Frustrated I went home and got on Amazon and found this compatible toner for $22 I was elated and quickly purchased and in a day it arrived and to my surprise the package came with two toner cartridges. I replaced the toner and my good old Brother purred like it always had furnished perfect black ink documents! I highly recommend this product. The value added savings is incredible!

The cartridges came quickly. They were easy to install, as I just had to remove the old one from the "holder" and slip in the new one. The first few pages were flawless, but as it ran more, there appeared a strip on the right side that looked like pencil dots. I guess I will have to clean the machine to make sure this is not a problem with the cartridge. It really doesn't bother me, but it is annoying.

After posting about how this toner had ruined the OEM drum on our HL-2140, the seller got in contact with me. There was some confusion because of language issues but they asked me to reconsider my review if they could replace the drum and toner. After a misstep, I finally wound up with a new drum and toner cartridge. I'm happy to report that both together work fine. The print quality is not completely up to OEM standard but it's about 90% there and perfectly acceptable to me given that you pay about 1/4 the cost for this vendor's supplies vs. Brother. I posted a new test page and while there is some minor vertical banding in the gradient graphic, the text is sharp and clear.So what happened with the first batch? Who knows. It's possible their toner functions best with their drums. I used to work for a laser printer manufacturer and getting the toner, drum, fuser and corona all working happily together can be a black art. Regardless, I give the seller 5 stars for persisting in trying to make this right and 4 stars on print quality.Thanks for persisting Winnie.ORIGINAL REVIEW:To start with, this toner messed up the drum on our HL-2140. Not only did it smear over the page and leave ghosted toner, it caused a permanent line down the right side of the drum that wasn't there before. See photo of test page. This is clearly not up to OEM standards. Even the plastic toner cartridge itself is cheap. It does not have the extra release handle in front. You sort of have to yank it out of the printer. FWIW, I've used other aftermarket toners like Abacus without problems.

My printer is now printing about as well as when it was new. I ran the corona wire wiper of the wire when I replaced this ink cartridge. That probably helped too. The printout is great now. It was very faded before I installed this.

I did not want to pay the price of OEM products. I found this item on Amazon.It was delivered in 2 days and it fit perfect.Very happy with the purchase.

I replaced a defective Brother toner with these and have been very pleased. The cost was extremely reasonable and they are performing as well as the factory cartridge so far.

I have had hit and miss with non-OEM toners. These seem OK, printing cleanly good dark text. Time will tell if they leak toner on the page. Good price for two units.

Great value! Not sure about the longevity but the print quality is perfect. Seems like a great product so far.

I have a very old Brother laser printer that I use infrequently, and it's still running thanks to the fact that Brother has chosen to keep these standard cartridges in use. If they had changed the design (even just slightly), I would probably have had to replace the printer by now.These cartridges have worked perfectly well for me. I'll give them five stars for longevity, but that's really kind of hard to judge since I don't print very often (or in large quantities). Suffice to say that I think I'm getting my money's worth.
