Two broken feet and ankles
I badly broke feet and ankles and partial tear of Achilles not needing surgery. These boots act like casts they are heavier than normal but comfortable like a hard cast. I have to wear at all times like a cast but can change liners two times a week after I swim in them, yes swim, but they’re comfortable. Difficult to walk in at time but it gets adjusted. For full support and full time use works great

This boot HURTS.
This is the most uncomfortable walking boot I have ever worn. I have had 15 surgeries on the ankle and have several boots. I thought this would be the best at keeping my leg from "sweating" and be more comfortable while walking. Having "beads" instead of memory foam is like walking on rocks. Using the "vacuum " just makes the "beads" even harder. Maybe it will work swimming but for just walking--it HURTS and HURTS alot. If I could return it, I would. DON'T buy this boot.

very comfortable boot with 2 liners
This is the most comfortable boot I have - I have 3 different air boots (Ossur and Aircast brands) and this one, that is more like a cast. I have to wear a boot for at least 8 weeks non-weight-bearing and a couple of weeks more afterwards. I always oick this one, and it's been the best of the four to sleep in. I love that it has 2 liners and that they are washable. With a wicking sock, or without one, the bottom of the liner is always damp in the morning so I have to dry it. On the air boots you sweat even more due to the neoprene liner, at least this one is cotton and comfortable on the skin. Many times I wear this boot without the sock, as it came with the second liner - I can swap it in the morning. I see 2 issues with it but, despite these, I still think this is the best of the 4 boots I have: - the vacuum exit is right in front, on my shin, and the top of the boot is rigid, so I cannot use a scooter or the iWalk without serious padding underneath. This could be moved on the side in a next version of this boot... - I got a medium and it is the right length but it is very tight on my calf, it is probably designed for skinny legs. The manual says it can be extended and I see (theoretically) how, there are some additional holed to move the buckle supports in, but it’s been impossible for me to do it, I tried a couple of times and did not work. A video on how to do this would help…

Walking Boot you can wear in the ocean
This is exactly the boot I was searching for. I can wear it in the ocean. It is so light in the water that it floats. It holds my ankle very securely and is comfortable. I can even surf with it on!

Good for swimming
The boot works well for swimming. I only use the boot in the water. The lining and the inner inflation piece can be removed from the boot. I took a point off because inflating is difficult. It has a separate, unattached, inflation bulb that is tricky to use. I keep the bulb to inflate it in my gym bag when I swim. I just think that if I were using this boot for every day use, I would loose the bulb and would not be able to adjust the tightness during the day. The boot allows me to swim, which is the best exercise for me. For that I would rate it a 4

SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED
I ordered this boot because I broke my ankle on both sides and tore the tendons in my ankle as well. I was taken out of my cast and told to wear a boot for walking while my fractures finished healing. I am also waiting to find out about surgery for the tendon repair. After all the research about this boot being so good for edema and adjusting to fit the individual anatomy of my foot I was hopeful. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. It got here fast yes. The EVA sole is great and the all around cage is nice and the washable liners are amazing. Those are the only good things. This is the most horrifically uncomfortable thing to walk in. It literally puts every bit of pressure in the arch of the foot. There is absolutely no heel support at all. It would not conform to my leg or foot and I was so un stable in it that after only 2 days it caused my ankle to swell even more. I had to leave my sit down job in tears so that I could go home and ice my ankle and then call my doctor for an aluminum framed boot to rent until I can get my return completed to order something different. This boot could be better if the rocker was lowered and the support was better under the foot and around the ankle for stability.
