I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and was very hesitant since the reviews weren't good. I have had nothing but great service from this appliance. I love the size and how solid the balls are that it makes. It is a little noisy though so place it somewhere that you don't have to listen to it. There are few things you must keep in mind. 1. When you fill it up and turn it on, the first 2 ice balls that get made are sub standard. Either let them melt back in or pitch them. 2. Mine takes about 1 1/2 hours before it makes the first 2 (sub-standard) ice balls. But once it gets started, it kicks out 2 nice balls about every 1/2 hour or so. 3. The Ice Maker does not keep the balls frozen but, if you leave them in the drawer it makes enough of them that they stay cold and keep their shape for hours. 4. VERY IMPORTANT when you are ready to turn the machine off you MUST press the "ICE" button one time and wait until it pushes out the balls that are being formed inside before turning it off. This insures that the machine will work properly when turned back on. 5. If you are not going to be using it for a while you MUST make sure the water is cleaned out of the reservoir. 6. Make sure you follow the instructions for ventilation around it. If you don't the machine won't work properly. If you follow these steps then it seems like the ice maker lasts and doesn't have any issues.

Worked great for four months. Now nothing. Very disappointing.

Love this ice maker. The bin only holds 8-10 ice balls, but I keep a bowl in the freezer to empty into. Highly recommend.

This is a great unit. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to make two ice balls. The unit is not a freezer, so the balls need to be removed and moved to a freezer for later use otherwise they simply melt in the holding bin. It makes ice so slowly that it isn't good for a party unless you've made and frozen the cubes well in advance of the party. Additionally, it is much larger than the photos represent. It doesn't fit on my counter underneath the upper cabinets. Additionally, it is rather loud when it is running.

Loved it at first then Stopped working after 8 moths

The material of the product is very well built. Very good quality machine. The time to make the ice is pretty fast usually I only need wait for couple mins and the ice will starting to get ready. There are two separate containers for ice and water, so I can keep adding the water while the machine is making ice. So that I can continually have enough ice.

Ice is not uniform.

It is a solid machine, make giant ice ball. We used to make big ice ball in fridge, not anymore. Quite happy with this purchase. It make 4 ice ball / hour. Make full bucket over night. A kind slower than I expect though.
