The placemats were more than I expected. And by chance they match my seats, upholstery almost perfect. Maybe I did not read the product description thoroughly but I was surprised to see it came with matching coasters the same material. It came with six placemats, but only four coasters. I am OK with that since I only need four placemats for my table. there is no type of odor when I am package them from the plastic bag, which was a nice surprise. I thought I might have to open them and let them air out, which was not the case. It looks like they have a texture, but they are completely smooth and easy to clean. With my Round Table their round mats look great as if I had a designer do that for me.

I like the quality of this product. I will be buying more in different colors. I also like the idea that they can be used for hot dishes. Size is also good

These are beautiful and lightweight. If they get food stained it takes some elbow work to get clean, but overall good for patio tables and are nice mats.
