I bought this for a cinco de mayo display and they worked perfect for what I needed

Very cute, glad to see they were actually made in Mexico, perfect for my 2-year old daughter.

There are rough edges that need to be sanded on both the top and bottom of these maracas. In addition, the stickers on them left adhesive residue and when I tried to remove it the paint came off. The paint also came off the second one when just wiped with a damp paper towel, which makes me concerned that it could come off on a child's hands. The only reason I didn't rate them one star is that they are made in Mexico and not in China.

Granddaughter uses them when she's "singing and acting" scenes from the movies she loves.

Product was cute, but smaller than expected. Got them for my toddler grandson...when he shook them he was disappointed because there was hardly any sound.

They aren't the same size, one wood is darker than the other.
