BIG 12 Ga cord!
I actually used this for a DJ equipment rack. Multiple amplifiers and such, big power hogs. Most all of the DJ rack mounted power conditioners use small 14-16 Ga power cables tho. Smaller than the amps. I went with this as it has a much larger power cable. Worked great!

Switches are loose and move around
I can't speak to how well the surge protector works yet, however the switches on the front are not fastened well. They move around and aren't aligned with one another, making the quality of the item look unprofessional. I'm not sure if this was a quality control issue with one, a few or all of them.

Safety Hazard - Do not buy
MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE - DO NOT BUY I tested this with an outlet tester and discovered ALL the outlets are wired backwards (reversed polarity). The wall outlet is fine - the problem is inside this unit. This means: • The switches don’t actually turn off the power correctly • Creates shock and fire hazard • Your equipment is at risk I have no idea how this passed ETL certification. This is a manufacturing defect that could hurt someone. If you already bought this, TEST IT before plugging anything in. You can get a simple outlet tester for $5 at any hardware store. Returning immediately. Buy a name brand PDU instead - Tripp Lite, APC, or CyberPower. Don’t risk it with this. Reported to Amazon as a safety hazard. With 100+ sold this month, others likely have the same dangerous defect.

Works great for my audio setup
Love this unit! I’ve purchased two and both came without shipping damage and fit into racks easily. If you’re looking to provide power to an audio setup, I recommend this product
