Q: Does this really work ?

Oh yes. I mean everyone is different but It worked wonders for me and I tell everyone I know who has tooth/dental pain about it. It’s a thick paste unlike orajel being really thin and so orajel wears off so fast, but this stuff stays put way longer so helps numb it way better. I’d definitely say try it out and see if it works for you but I know for sure i was so happy to have found it when I did.

Q: How do i clean dried on benzodent from dentures? Its like cement & doesn't want to come off!

I used the product once and did not like the taste. I used a dental tooth brush to remove excess Benzodent.

Q: Can this be used to relieve palate dental shots & does it leave a residue so the dentist can see?

This is a paste-like consistency and I don't think it would work well for that purpose. It forms a gel when wet (with saliva) and so it possibly would leave a residue that the dentist can see. If it's not used under a denture or partial denture it might numb areas you don't want numb, like the tongue. The pain-relieving ingredient, benzocaine 20%, is also an ingredient in at least a couple of other dental pain relievers. Personally I'd try one of those first.
