You can use the gas hob with cylinders from 4.5kg to 47kg (propane/butane).

Can it run off UK mains gas inside?

This particular stove needs to be connected to a gas cylinder with either Propane or Butane gas.

can I light it with a match?

Yes you can, but bear in mind that the appliance has a built-in piezo ignition so you do not need a naked flame to light up the burner.
