I had previously bought the Atomos monitor which got very hot during use I returned it. I saw this monitor on Amazon and thought I would try it. I am more than pleased with it. It was almost plug in and use. I am a keen photographer but the screen on the camera is a little small and this makes it a joy to see. Everything is clear although it isn't 4k you can still get a great idea of your picture. The shade that comes with it is great too. It feels a good build quality and the control features are easy to figure out. The focus assist on it is a godsend and I am over the moon with it. Thankyou Neewer for bringing great products at a great price.. 😁

F100 Review - Great screen. Lightweight but built quality is excellent. Came with a bunch of cables etc. The mini HDMI to HDMI enabled me to test straight away on my NIkon D7100 HDMI out.. No issues as I TURNED DOWN the volume on the screen before I started up my D7100 in video mode (would have been feedback issues). The screen is very bright and can be used outsie on sunny days with no issue if you use the screen shade (included). Hotshoe mount is strong and tightens fine. Few pointers, there is no HDMI thru/output so you'll need to split the video feed if you want to use this screen with say a caputre card etc. (unless of course the capture card has a HDMI thru/output which you could route into this screen post capture. Well done Neewer I Would buy again.. highly recommended.

This is a very good simple field monitor. Not for use for those wanting touchscreen capability, wanting true and accurate colours. But excellent for a larger cheap monitor when shooting video or photos. I've used it when filming myself simply to see the shot more clearly. If you want the best or recording capabilities, Atomos Ninja (or any current equivalent) is the only way.

The display works, actually quite good for the money. The negatives: -no power cable. Wtf?? Lucky I found one and it works with it. -the "ball head" is rubbish. -the sun shade is a ball ache to put on, could be useful outside though, idk. I definitely won't use it. A little surdy stand would have been a better accessory for it.

Avoid had it for few months and it never worked on the job you have to keep trying to conect but its not good. I used it with my a7siii and a7iii its so bad and not reliable

my eyesight aint what it used to be so needed a field monitor to add onto my canon 5d mk2 as the perfect upgrade but after looking for hours at the minefield of monitors for an affordable price this one stood out. so i went with this one and am really impressed with this piece of kit. screen quality is very clear and loads of functions a new gadget to play with and now i see everything clear as a bell i would definetly recommend it. easy to instal with 1 hdmi to small hdmi cable i was up and running within minutes 10/10 cheeeers

Found this a very solid piece of kit for the price. Picture quality is spot on, and the frame safety guide is a very handy feature. I have used it mounted on both camera and on tripod, and it has been nicely secure on both. Worked well with the hood outdoors during a challenging high sun shoot. Onky annoying piece is when sunhood is on, hdmi lead can be tricky to put in, but it does go in! Overall, I will happily buying a second unit when the new 2nd camera arrives
