ZHUOTOP Heavy Duty Handlebar Control Line Winch Rocker Switch Handlebar Control Warn for ATV/UTV

I converted my (remote control ) winch on my ATV to a switch. this one looked good so I got it, it works great. My friend says it looks like a factory mount and didn't make the machine look like it had been thrown together. It makes the wince much more usable.

This unit is a clone of the switch that came OEM with a Superwinch Terra 2500 many years ago, but slightly improved. It now has wings around the switch for protection. And, the electrical contacts are bladed, instead of soldered. This is a great improvement, since I had to reverse the wires on both the old and new switches, so that In meant in and Out meant out. Not an issue. Easy. The switch is sturdily constructed, and should last a long time. Great purchase.

Works great. Installation was simple, but check the wire polarity before you connect them permanently. I had to flip the colors to have in and out orientated correctly. Had to connect green to black and black to green. Very happy for the price compared to OEM and see no quality difference. It even fit on my existing bracket.

I had to look online to find instructions to hook this switch up. Once I figured it out it works great. I mounted it on a side by side and it's really designed for a 4 wheeler, so it was a little harder to figure out everything. The mounting bracket set up gave me a few problems since it wasn't designed for what I used it for. I finally made a piece from some extra steel I had lying around, and it all works well now. The wiring was pretty simple, with a 3 wire hookup. One wire went to a power source, and the other 2 were for in and out on the winch. I wired it all up so I can use either this wired remote, and also the wireless remote that came with the winch. I would give this winch switch a 5 star rating if it had come with instructions. My thoughts on that are that the lack of instructions may be because there are so many different different brands of winch with many configurations, so instructions for one might not work for the others. What I did was get online and luckily found a video for my winch and this switch. I'm pleased so far and hope it lasts.

I installed the switch one week later it would not work looked at switch it was full of corosion i threw it away and bought a warn switch

Seems to be secure. Mounting bracket holds it firm. It works.

This did not work after about five minutes. the button would lag and not move the winch and then would not turn off, and yes it was hooked up correctly. I would not recommend

Very impressed with this switch, nice heavy mounting hardware. Threaded Brass inserts into the plastic housing for mounting and a very nice action on the switch itself. Seems the same quality as its Warn equivalent for a heck of a lot less money

I used the switch on my wood processor

Using it to control 3rd function hydraulic solenoid to control a grapple or a solenoid to control a grapple or an angle front mount plough fixed mounted to control stick. Ground down one side of the switch protector so easier to use with thumb

I installed it upside down with the in and out functions reversed but that was likely my fault and makes no difference to the function. I just press in when I want out.
