My Honest Review
If you’re anything like me you have gone through and read thousands of different reviews to find your little perfect new big boy/girl bed. Let me just start off by saying WOW to both the quality and value. I strive to find affordable yet durable products that will last my little for years to come. I decided on this bed as soon as my little turned 1 and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made! My little is almost two years old now and even he adores his bed. Closing his little door every nap/bed time has become one is his favorite things. My husband put together this bed with incredible ease, all parts were in great condition and fit perfectly. The safety that this bed insures is everything to us as parents. We’ve decided to parent on a not too strict Montessori style and man has this bed been a game changer for it. To say this bed hasn’t given our little boy such confidence with his independence would be a lie, and it’s just a bed! Anywho, I found the perfect mattress thanks to another reviewer on here and to help you I will relay the message, get the Full Size Mattress by Lumi and it will be the perfect fit! Thank you so much for reading, happy Montessori bed searching (;

Great floor bed and decent price
Box is VERY big and heavy when it arrived, came about a week. My husband put it together in about half n hour (couple of screws wouldn't fit right so he used different ones), the door is a little lopsided but not a huge deal still latches great. We got a twin XL 6 inch mattress (only gaps are the corners which we'll fill with a pool noodle), not very sturdy but it's holding up against my chunky boy. I would definitely recommend this item!

Great Montessori Bed – Almost Perfect!
This bed was very easy to assemble, and the materials feel sturdy and well-made. The instructions were clear, and I had it put together in no time. It’s a great fit for our Montessori-style setup, and my son absolutely loves it.The gate is a standout feature — it swings open and shut easily and adds a fun, interactive element for kids. My son enjoys using it so much that he hasn't even attempted to climb over the rails, which is a big win for safety and independence.My one critique is that I wish there was a horizontal support bar along the bottom to make the frame feel even more stable. It’s not a major issue, but a small design improvement like that would really enhance the overall durability.We also love the flexibility — the removable slats allow you to turn it into a play or reading area if needed. Overall, it's a charming and functional bed that encourages independence and play. Highly recommend with just a small suggestion for improvement.

Perfect for transitioning toddler!
This has been the best choice for transitioning out of a crib. Our son absolutely loves this bed! It still has the contained feeling of a crib but he has the independence to get in and out on his own without me worrying about him falling out at night. The assembly wasn't too bad, except the slats didn't have holes to follow. My husband ended up eyeballing it, but it worked out just fine. I will say, if your kids are rough on the door/gate it will not last long. We ended up removing it because my husband had to tighten the hinge so many times. Overall, we love this bed and would definitely recommend!

Love
Very easy to build. My son was jumped a few times and it is still standing. Looks beautiful and worth the money.

Defects in wood and paint
The product came with a lot of scratches and paint defects. It was easy to put together but the one I got looked like it was really bad quality. I would not buy again. The door on the bed was not the best quality. I feel like it’s not worth its price. There were also cracks in the wood.

Weary but we’ll see how it holds up
1. STRONG paint smell. We purchased the white with door. Trying to air it out before letting baby sleep in it but not sure if the smell will go away because it’s quite strong. There’s also a sticker on the bed that says cancer risk from saw dust so I’m a bit weary if it’s safe.2. Frame was easy enough to put together but the bottom slats do not have holes, so you will need to measure out the length between each slat and use a power drill to get the slats on.3. Some of the holes are off, especially on the door so the latch was crooked. Had to make it work by making our own hole. We also couldn’t get the screw in one of the sides of the door, we kept screwing, but the wood was just coming loose and the screw wasn’t going in so we just left that one without a screw.4. Each piece is light in weight, not sure on sturdiness so far. Honestly don’t know why these beds cost so much when it’s just pieces of (very light) wood and we have to put it together ourselves.Might return

Weird discoloration after only a week
I've had this bed for a little over a week and it's already becoming discolored. It's only on one of the shelves on the top and I am unsure as to why it's happening.Overall, very good bed and sturdy.
