Broke after 2 hours of use
Worked for about 2 hours, after dissamble it was found that the bearing was broke into multiple pieces. If you buy this because its affordable heres a tip, pack that bearing with some grease before us8ng it.

After a “poor start,” the tool surprised me
RexLeLXB Brushless Cordless Metal Shears, using Milwaukee 18V BatteryLet’s begin by talking about what is NOT in the box. The pics on its Amazon page clearly show that a pair of work gloves is supposed to be included with the cordless metal shears. And even under Product Specifications it describes a pair of gloves being included. But they were nowhere to be found. Now on the one hand this is absolutely no big deal to me—I have many pairs of work gloves. But on the other hand, if they’re supposed to be included, then they SHOULD be included.Of greater concern to me is that there are NO instructions. Well, to be more accurate, there IS a 4-page User Manual, BUT it has nothing to do with the tool in the box! As best I can tell, the User Manual is actually for a Cordless Impact Wrench—despite the fact that the front cover says, “Cordless Metal Shear[sic] User Manual.” So, like I said, no instructions were included with this potentially dangerous tool. These may seem like small, insignificant matters but they’re not—they reflect badly and directly on the tool and its maker. So at this point I already have a skeptical view of the tool itself. These (Chinese-made) metal shears are meant to be used with any number of 18V Milwaukee batteries. Since this tool does not come with a battery, I got (b/c of its considerably cheaper cost) a “replacement” battery (also made in China). So the tool and the battery are both made overseas.Much to my surprise, the cordless shears along with its battery worked quite well, at least on thin metal stock (b/c that’s all I had). I cut through a thin piece of steel, of stainless steel, of copper, as well as pieces of metal screen, leather, PVC, and cardboard. The latter pieces seemed like a waste of time, in that the shears cut through them so easily. I believe this tool’s best use is with thinnish sheet metals. I say “thinnish” b/c I’m not exactly sure just how thick of a piece of metal it’ll cut. (Of course the metal itself will make a big difference.) But the thickest piece that I was able to cut was a 2mm sheet of steel (which is pretty good in my eyes, since I will unlikely be cutting anything any thicker than that!So while things got off to a poor start, all in all I was pleased with the performance of this tool. I kind of doubt that it cuts as efficiently and strongly as a name-brand tool, but, then again, I don’t presently own a name-brand pair of cordless metal shears. But it appears that this overseas brand will do just fine for my DIY homeowner purposes. Although their durability and longevity are unfortunately still an open question. Just rest assured that I’ll update this review as needed. Thanks for reading.

Cordless 18v metal shears
We have an old metal shed in the backyard between our driveway and a home that after 20 years of service was starting to show signs of where we went to the local Big Box store in search of a replacement and with dumbfounded over the cost of replacing the metal shed that only cost a few hundred dollars two decades earlier after returning home we decided it would be cheaper an easier to buy the sheet metal and corrugated roofing needed to repair what we had that was already built than to tear down the old one move the interior stored in it and build a new one it didn't take very long for my hands and I'm now riddled with arthritis to grow weary from using the wiss aviation metal shears that we're in my tool cabinet . I looked online using the 18 volt platform for Milwaukee that I currently own and saw that the metal she is by Milwaukee what an excess of $280 which was definitely not going to happen I jumped on the internet and found these for less than half the cost on Amazon will still using the 18 volt Milwaukee batteries that I had well over a dozen of after ordering it and waiting a short period of time it arrived with the shares a small adjustment tool and a pair of gloves that was small enough for a child instructions are pretty much useless but the tool is kind of obviously simple you pull the trigger and it cuts. It easily cut through the 0.008 thickness galvanized metal panels that we ordered to replace the rod ones on I should quickly and evenly without the least that hesitation we measured all of the panels cut them and moved on to the corrugated roof panels which were the same thickness just a different shape and it too cut them like a hot knife slicing through butter it made the job so much easier and so much fun I personally use the 4 amp hour Milwaukee batteries and got hours of use using them trimming them cutting all the panels in several days the shed was as good as new after re drilling and pop riveting the new panels in place it's a brushless motor which is a must have and pretty much an industry stranded today I absolutely love it I'm actually looking for other projects and I might be able to use it instead of she is like we screening all the window screens and screen doors on the house for starters I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at cost-effective alternative to the high prices of name brand 18 volt cordless metal shears this one worked flawlessly cutting metal panels to replace the rotted ones in my arrow shed I would say the build quality is great at any DIY or backyard mechanic fixer would be glad to keep this in there Arsenal of tools
