Dimensions are exaggerated
I don’t know why, but virtually every seller of acoustical crushed felt or polyester fiber panels overstates the dimensions by about 10%, and sometimes more. This can make trying to determine how many to order tricky, as they are not actually 12” x12”, and they are also at least 10% thinner. My best guess is that they figure they can get away with this because are rounding up.In the case of this product they also claim them to be soundproof which they absolutely are not. They will deaden the sound, for sure, but even two layers would not make a room truly soundproof.

Great panels
These soundproofing panels are excellent at blocking noise, and they work just as well as other panels I have and actually are a few mm thicker. I installed them on the entire back wall behind my TV/monitor setup, as well as around my microphone. I also added a row to the ceiling directly above my setup. No problem sticking to the ceiling, but if you have textured walls, you may encounter some challenges like I did. I ended up using hot glue, which worked surprisingly well. These did a lot ot help OBS and my headphones' noise cancellation.

Buyer Beware
Within the first night… throughout the night… (I put them out to block out the screams of my baby during the fuss of the night from teething) every single one but three fell off the properly cleaned walls and doors… and made loud ass thud… alll night long… at random. The three that survived didn’t make it past the second day. One held on for three days before falling. Save your money or use tacky tape? They’ve been sitting in a pile at the top of my steps for almost two weeks to remind me to write this review. Can return but likely junk after peeling. Buyer beware.

Adhesive Needs Improvement
The panels feel sturdy, but the self-adhesive didn’t hold — most fell off within minutes, even on a clean surface. I ended up propping them up with furniture to keep them in place. Unfortunately, I haven’t noticed any difference in sound.

Good quality material and adhesion, just wish there were more than 12.
These are good quality acoustic panels. They’re dense enough to dampen out the sound, though not fully soundproof.I like that these come ready to install and don’t need to sit and expand some others I’ve tried. The adhesion has been good so far. We’ve had them up on the wall in my home studio for over two months with no signs of slippage.I do wish it came with more than 12 in the pack.

Thin but Surprisingly Dense Sound Panels
Value Rating: 4⭐️ – These are a bit pricier than some foam alternatives, but they offer a unique combination of being ultra-thin while still dense enough to be effective. The full adhesive backing also adds value since there’s no need to buy separate mounting strips.Specifications:• Set of 12 panels• Dimensions: 12” x 12” x 0.4”• Material: High-density polyester fiber with a damping rubber backing• Self-adhesive backing for easy installationKey Points:I’ve purchased quite a few different types of sound-dampening panels from Amazon, and these stand out because they are so much thinner than most, yet incredibly dense. The adhesive backing is a huge plus—it covers the entire panel, so there’s no risk of them peeling off over time like some foam panels. The thin design makes them more versatile, allowing them to blend into a space without looking bulky.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a low-profile soundproofing solution that actually stays put, these are a solid choice. They’re a little pricey compared to basic foam options, but the quality and adhesion make up for it. I don’t have any complaints!

They don't stick to ceiling
The media could not be loaded. Do not attempt to put these on a ceiling.I have no idea how I'm going to sleep tonight with raining panels. This happens because some of there are bent and the back surface doesn't make full contact with the wall.

Good sound reduction but difficult install
These sound management panels do an excellent job limiting sound, though they are far from "soundproof". Compared to standard thin-fiber sound control panels, these are better acoustically. That said, like other mass loaded acoustic panels, they come with or develop slight bows that make long term installation difficult. The bowing pulls the adhesive away from the installation surface and the panels will fall, usually within a week. The only way I have found to secure these is actually peel the included adhesive off (very labor intensive) and add thick double-sided tape. Fasteners could also be used, but there is no easy way to hide them. While I really like how well these work at controlling sound, they are probably not suitable for casual diy and even professional installers will need to plan well how to install them.
