A Value-Conscious Audiophile’s Take: Outstanding Performance, Minor Quibbles
As a self-styled, value-conscious audiophile—my home system is anchored mostly by McIntosh components—I’ve long been skeptical of wireless earbuds, wary of the musical degradation and compression that so often accompany convenience. Only recently have the advances in wireless audio technology convinced me to give these devices a fair shake. The SOUNDPEATS Pearl Clip Pro are my third set of wireless earbuds, and notably, my first foray into the “open ear” form factor. The Pros: First and foremost, the sound quality is genuinely impressive for the price. These earbuds deliver a clear, balanced audio experience that punches well above their weight—no small feat in a crowded market. The open-ear design is a revelation for anyone who, like me, works in environments where crosstalk is common or needs to remain aware of their surroundings (think: gym conversations, office banter, or simply not missing the call for dinner). As a powerlifter, I can also attest that these earbuds handle sweat and strenuous workouts with aplomb—no slippage or discomfort, even during heavy sessions. The Cons: No product is without its quirks. For my medium-sized ears, the Pearl Clip Pro are just a touch large, requiring occasional repositioning. While this hasn’t been an issue for lifting, I suspect runners or those engaged in more dynamic movement might find them less secure. The touch controls, while modern in intent, are vague in practice; I’d much prefer tactile buttons with haptic feedback for more reliable operation. Finally, and this is splitting hairs, the glossy finish feels a bit at odds with the otherwise thoughtful design—opting for a matte finish would, in my view, better convey the “premium” experience SOUNDPEATS is clearly aiming for. After several weeks of use, I can say without hesitation that these earbuds are worth every penny. If you’re seeking best-in-class value—audio quality, comfort, and practical design—these are worthy contenders. SOUNDPEATS has delivered a product that stands tall among far pricier competitors. Well done.

Louder - healthier - safer
I tried two different models of open ear clip style ear buds before landing on these.IMO these are amazing value - half the price of the other ones I tried. The reason these are better is because of the size - the longer middle section allows the speaker to get much closer to the edge of your ear canal - making them much louder. The open ear design is perfect for safety when you're outside and still want to hear dangers like traffic etc or when you're in the home or work environment when you still need to hear if someone is trying to talk to you - IE not noise cancelling.I literally forget I'm wearing them - that's how light they are - they don't squeeze your ear at all.The app is not bad - I tweak the touch settings to just volume up/down and play/pause, and sound profile to max volume.I much prefer to use one in bed at night to listen to podcasts than the airpod style I was using before, mainly because the airpod style headphones plug your ear canal trapping shower water and ear wax.Highly reccomended - I even got a silicone protective case for mine - that's how much I like them.

A Comfortable & Cool-looking Pair of Earbuds for a Great Price, With Some Limitations
Early review:I purchased these a couple of weeks ago. I use my earbuds mostly for virtual meetings and occasionally to listen to music. I'm not a heavy user, so I don't need a very expensive set of buds. So the good first: For my ears, these are much more comfortable than the typical earbud, which never stay in my ears. These sit fine on my ears. They are snug and I find that I can walk about with them without worrying about them falling off. That's a huge plus because as much as I wanted to love the more expensive Soundcore pair I had, they never stayed in my ear, no matter how many times I tried different tip sizes. The sound quality for my needs are absolutely fine--I like all types of music, but if the bass isn't great quality (as has been reported), I'm fine with that. The pairing took me a few seconds to figure out (Google the directions because the written instructions that come with the set aren't easy to read), but once I did, it paired easily. Some complained that the case easily smudges, but for me that's not a big deal. I also like the look of them. They sort of look like earrings, but even if I'm wearing earrings, these are still comfortable to wear. For the bad: the only negative that I've encountered is that the ambient noise can be heard by others. I was on a Zoom meeting in my office and the other attendees could hear my co-worker who was talking on the phone in a normal voice. She was sitting about 10 feet away from me. I haven't really used them while I was sitting near someone so I don't know if others can hear my audio. I'll get back to you on that. I haven't used them for phone calls so far, but I'll update my review as soon as I give that a try.So far, though there are a couple of negatives, for $39 and for my needs, these seem to be a great buy.
