I picked up this nylon strimmer line, and it did the job perfectly. It fed through the strimmer smoothly without any jams, and made quick work of trimming the garden. The line held up really well—no snapping or fraying, even when I was going over tougher areas with some thick grass.It cuts cleanly, doesn’t wear down too fast, and lasted throughout the job with no issues. Plus, it’s reasonably priced for the quality, which is always a win.Overall, a solid choice for keeping the garden tidy, and I’d definitely recommend it.5/5 – Great for getting the job done!

I have a black and decker strimmer, and did wonder if this would be too thick for it.Easy fix, there have been complaints about this not spooling correctly, and, was too thick for the auto feed. Not a problem, on the black and decker spool, there is a small hole where one end of the line goes, and, as I expected, this line was too thick to go into that. So, got a small drill, and opened tile hole up to the size of the line, well actually, just a tiny bit smaller so the end fits snugly. As for the feed hole, yep, you guessed it, I just opened it again with a drill so it's a tiny bit bigger and feeds perfectly.The trick here is Simple, just open the holes on your spool a tiny bit and you don't have a problem.As for the line itself, it's not round, it's a diamond shape, this definitely makes a big difference to the cut. Have to say, it's excellent, nothing so far has given this any grief, and, cuts through thick grass easily.I will say this, always wear protective impact resistant goggles, and, protect your "lower limbs", don't do what others do and go using this with shorts and flip flops as if the line does snap, it's so sturdy, it's gonna hurt, a lot 😂

This real was very strong and lasts a long time if you are happy to pay a little extra.Many other reels have the circular bore but this star reel seemed more effective for me.Caution: if you are using this with a battery powered strimmer, ensure you have the prescribed diameter reel for your strimmer. found that larger diameter reels would fit, but they can drain the battery quicker.

Having read the reviews for this strimmer line - some very good and few really bad, as Oregon is usually a good brand I thought I'd risk it. This line far and away surpassed the blue line I was using before. it appears to be rated for grass only but using my cheap little McGregor electric strimmer it literally destroyed everything I pointed it at...grass, mixed weeds, nettles - even some small shrubby growth. Because there is a lot of stones in the area i cut back today, previously I would have used most of a spool of line - but with this line I used up just 30cm! If I had to pick one thing to criticise , it is that it's quite springy making it harder to wind onto the spool - but given that I'll be doing this much less often I can live with that. I will buy this line again...just not very often :-)

Great cord, even cuts through nettle and dock stems

My strimmer head needs 2.4mm or greater to clamp onto wire, this is less than 2mm even tho it’s meant to be 2.4mm as described.Had to order the 3mm in the end. This stuff is great on grass, heavy shrubs and it wears quickly. Over all good stuff
