Amazing quality (just be sure to get a Mesh bag!)
I gotta say, this is probably one of the best carbons I've used for my tanks. I've ran a few different brands over the years, but this stuff is on a whole different level. First thing I noticed when I opened it up was how small and uniform the pieces are, it's way different then the chunky carbon you get from some other places. It’s super clean too, barely any dust at all compared to other stuff I've used, but I still rinse it just to be safe. Now, one thing to keep in mind—your most likely gonna need a mesh bag to run this in any filter. The particles are so small, they'll slip right through most media trays and into your tank if your not careful. I personally use a fine mesh bag, and it works perfect. If you’re planning on running it in a reactor, it works awesome but you gotta make sure you adjust the flow so it doesn't tumble too much. Otherwise, it'll grind itself down over time.Performance wise, this stuff is fantastic. I noticed clearer water within a day or two, and it does a really good job pulling out odors and impurities. I run it in my reef tank, but I’ve also used it in freshwater, and it works great in both. One of the biggest things I appreciate is how long it lasts. I don’t feel like I have to change it out as often as some of the cheaper carbons, so that kinda makes up for the higher price tag.Only real downside? The price. It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there, but honestly, you get what you pay for. I’d rather spend a little more on something that actually works than waste money on carbon that turns to mush in a week. If your looking for high-quality carbon that keeps your tank crystal clear, I’d 100% recommend giving this a try. Just make sure you got that mesh bag ready, or you'll be fishing carbon outta your sump for days.

Great, Clean, Effective Carbon!
This BRS activated carbon is great! The container is quite large, and the granules are small enough to be used in a super fine media bag or a reactor. The granules are pretty uniform in size and are very clean. When I rinsed it prior to adding it to the tank, there was almost no black dust in the water, making this far cleaner than any other carbon I've used. It's also the perfect granules for media reactors, making it very easy to use most effectively. As for functionality, it works very well at removing yellow pigments and smells from the water, providing you with crystal clear and clean water. While this carbon is definitely on the expensive side, it is worth the money. This is far cleaner and far more effective than any other carbon I've tried.

Simply the best aquarium charcoal media out there.
Been using BRS Rox for several years and I have always found it to be a superior product. Very little dust out of the package as each piece is a consistent formed size. Rinses quickly as a result which is nice. I've tried a couple of different brands but always go back to this. BRS is the leading retailer of salt water equipment and I I trust any BRS product. Keeps the water sparkling clean.

good bulk supply for filter media
this bulk supply of active carbon is a nice economical alternative to buying the small packaged filters which only include a minimal amount of carbon.this does require a bit of pre-rinsing, and a proper media bag to keep the carbon in, but this is a much more economical approach to filtering the water.

The Best Carbon I Have Seen
This is excellent carbon. I have had great personal experience with it, and have watched video reviews comparing it to other carbons and it is superior. First, the carbon is in extremely small tiny cylinders. You want smaller rather than larger for water. Second, it has extremely little dust and just requires a quick rinse prior to using it. It definitely is on the expensive side, however you do not need to use as much as you would other carbons. Some carbons have been known to cause "hole in the head" disease. I have never had a problem with that using this one. I use this in my sump for a reef tank. It cleans the water and removes any yellow tint. I will only be using this carbon in the future.

Excellent product from well known brand
I've bought many things from this brand and never had an issue. I recently decided to add carbon filtration to my reef tank and this did the job. Just put 12 tbsp in a bag and dump it into my sump for a 40 gallon total aquarium. Water was noticeably clearer within a few days.
