Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have mature skin. That is, I never took care of it, tanned way too much, etc. In the last couple of years, I've noticed my pores are appearing larger. I have been trying multiple foundations that are advertised as for "mature skin" or "color-matching", only to be disappointed. I saw this Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation reviewed on quite a few websites and I figured, what do I have to lose? Other foundations that I have tried just did not look right because of color or, worse yet, settling into wrinkles.I am so happy that I gave this foundation a try. I have slightly olive-toned skin and did not want a "pinkish" tone so I chose the #129 - Neutral Cool color. It was a perfect match!!! It seemed to go on light but then develops to a more natural (and not pink) tint.As I said, I have "mature skin" and have developed deep smile lines and moderate crows feet. This foundation, paired with Maybelline Super Stay Liquid Concealer (SS Concealer #30) and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer has made a huge difference with those smile lines and the crows feet are now barely visible.I put a dab or two onto a makeup disk and then apply the foundation with a brush and it goes on smoothly. The liquid is not too thick & not too thin. But, the thing that I am most happy with is that it is a perfect match for my skin color. As I said, the color/tint appears light when you first apply it so, don't keep applying more. It'll change. You can build on it, though. I have not needed to. It seems to last about 10-12 hours without needing any correction. With it's matte finish, it does not look like I have foundation plastered over my entire face. It evens out my ruddy skin to a perfect finish and tone.The only thing that I do not like is the bottle's cap. It feels pretty fragile to me.I truly wish I that I had found this earlier. I am so happy with the color match and the final matte appearance.

Es la mejor base que he usado, no se siente pesada, si oxida entre 1 a 2 tonos, por eso es mejor comprar un tono menos a lo que usualmente usarías, y tener en cuenta que la presentación es un poco más pequeña a lo convencional, solo 5 ml. Pero en mi caso conocía la base compré un tono 119 de forma presencial en Colombia pero quedo muy oscura es más como para pieles trigueñas o morenas, y no sw consiguen tonos más claros así que por eso la pedí y esta si esta perfecta

seals were broken on both foundations. I noticed they've changed the formula for this foundation. it used to be a lot thicker and I would consider that more full covers that lasts however the new formula they're using is very liquidy and I need to apply a few layers to get the same coverage. I go through this foundation a lot quicker than the other one because of this. it does give good coverage lightweight and blends very well.

I love this foundation. I love full coverage, but I hate the heaviness of most full coverage foundations. This feels very light and looks very natural, like skin. It melts into the skin well and doesn’t get patchy or streaky. It sets well’s with powder, or you can go without for a more glowy look. I have freckles but also a lot of redness, and it covers my redness with great coverage, but I can still see my freckles, which I appreciate. And the price is great for the quality of this foundation.

I have oily textured mature skin and this foundation makes my skin look so beautiful! It doesn’t make me oily, doesn’t break me out, the color match is perfect, and makes me have a more natural finish! A little also goes a long way. I stopped buying my $50 foundation and started using this and will never go back!!!! Holy grail!!!! The skin tint also is amazing!!! So impressed that this is a drug store foundation! I set it with a matte powder and setting spray and it lasts my entire 12 hour shift without separating or looking cakey!

I have been using mineral powder makeup for probably 30 years whenever bare essentials came out. I do not use liquid makeup because it ages your skin if older. This liquid foundation does not do that. I’m so impressed. By far deserves 5 stars :)

Shades seem inaccurate at first. It can be *very* orange in certain lights. It can look like really bad self-tanning lotion or like the early 2000s when girls wore super orange-tan foundation with "nude" lipstick. But! I think with the "a little goes a long way" adage and being careful not to go over the same areas too much it can work out alright. Unfortunately it got away from me very fast and became very blotchy in areas making the orange tone really stand out. But it is the exact shade/color of my tanned upper arm, so in the end the shade was in fact accurate for my skin in summer which is what I needed.

Good, although not "wow". I was hoping for a little more. Order a color lighter than you think, as it does get darker (oxidizes) as you wear it. I was surprised on how watery the foundation is. So it is a little messier (I like to put it on my wrist before applying) but it is buildable,As for wear, good if not in warm weather, otherwise, the foundation starts to wear down. I have combination skin,.not excessively oily. I do live in Florida, so I need a little longer wear.I will use it , as I am generally pleased with the foundation for indoor wear or cooler weather You can't beat the price.
