Kuhn Rikon "Kreuz" Peeler in Blister Packaging, Stainless Steel, Silver

These are brilliant. They cut the thinnest peel I have ever managed and feel substantial, built to last. I previously owned some nearly the same from Lak*land which I thought I loved best, but their lighter handles always snap apart eventually, whereas these are made more heavily. The blade is super sharp, yesterday I used them for peeling peppers, which I used to laboriously flame burn, in the past, to relieve them of the bitter skin. The roasted peppers were delicious, and prepared in moments. It must be good to peel extra finely as the nutrients in fruit and veg are largely below the skin anyway. I am really happy to have found these and reading the positive reviews gave me confidence.

I have ordered 3 of these items, just wish I had bought one years ago. So simple and quick to use. I got one for my left-handed brother and he thinks is is great. The other one I purchased for my 85 year old mother-in-law and she uses it every day and is so impressed with it. Great kitchen aid and so cheap!! Only one criticism - there is no choice of colour, even though the picture shows several colours, and each time I have been sent a green one, but that in no way affects its durability!

easy to use but the blade is tarnished/rusty already not a good buy at all, I'm back to lakeland

The best peeler i have ever bought. The only problem i have with these is that they go rusty if you let them get wet for too long. Aside from this i can peel fruits and vegetables effortlessly. great accompaniment to my kuhn rikon knives.

These peelers are great - lightweight, sharp and manoeuvrable! Don't waste money on buying more expensive ones - I think these are by far the best. Only negative is that they do rust a bit in the dishwasher. Brilliant customer service too - I received a call to ask what colour peelers I would like. Highly recommended!

I've been preparing veg and fruit for over 40 years and have to say that this little gadget is better than anything else I've ever used, it makes peeling so easy. I loved my so much that I bought this one for my daughter.

Best peeler I've ever used. I've wasted money on cheaper copycat versions and learned my lesson. I hate it when I have loads of winter veg and potatoes to peel and the Kuhn Rikon makes life so much easier.

This product is sharp and does the job, but i am a little dissapointed that after only having it a couple of weeks, it appears the blade is discolouring and possibly rusting at the edges. Dont think it is going to last long....
