TENKER Soundbar for TV, 37-inch 4 Speakers Wired and Wireless Bluetooth 2-Channel Optical Soundbar, Home Theater Speakers for TV (Surround Sound, Remote Control, Wall Mountable)

I have now had this Tenker soundbar for a few weeks. I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review to be sure I had an opportunity to put it through some good use. For most flat tv's the sound is horrible and does not travel. You won't be sorry by adding this 37" Tenker soundbar to your setup. It has added much much better and much more fuller sound to my Samsung tv. I also use it to listen to music from my cellphone as well as music channels on the tv. The included remote is direct and to the point. It simply works. All in all I was always sceptical of buying a soundbar. I always considered them an unnecessary expense with little return. I was really wrong this Tenker soundbar for the price really was well worth the investment. I can actually here my tv and understand what is being said and the rich sound quality is the icing on the cake. I'm sorry to sound so theatrical, but I really am surprised that I like this product as much as I do.

Packaging: Packaging is good and through and is well protected. Sometimes some electronics do not come with the protection and get damaged during shipping but this product has minimal chance for that. Also all the components needed for the set up are included(optical cable, Aux and AV cable). Overall excellent packaging. The product itself has a good finish with the display at the middle.Operation and set up ease: There a user manual included that fairly easy to follow and it provides a step by step guidance on setting up the product. I had no troubles in setting up OPT connection with my TV and Bluetooth with my phone.Product operation: I first tried Bluetooth and compared it with other Bluetooth audio speakers I have(JBL) and I found that the volume is not that high and also, the crispness of the tones is not clear comparably but sounds good. The bass can be improved a little bit. I then tried OPT and compared TV speakers with this and noticed that TV volume can go higher than this but then this can add a little more bass and audio effects that emulates, little bit, a home theater experience. They have a proactive customer service and are eager to please you and for the price point overall I would say this is a product not to be overlooked if you are considering a cost efficient sound bar for a small space like your bedroom, small living area etc.

I bought this because I just bought a new TV and a bunch of articles said TV speakers suck these days, you're gonna need to buy a soundbar if you want good audio. Okay fine. So I look around for recommendations for "good soundbars under $75", this one was actually recommended on two different sites so I trusted it and made my purchase.It was super easy to set up, so that's one good thing about it. But I quickly noticed the volume was super quiet for what I was expecting from a soundbar, and was exponentially quieter than my TV speakers. I have mini portable speakers that are louder than this thing! For reference, the maximum volume setting on the soundbar sounded the same as level 20 out of 100 on my TV. It sounds like a cheap, off-brand speaker (which I suppose that's exactly what it is)I changed the audio source to see if maybe it would be louder via bluetooth than the optical cord connection, but it was quiet no matter what setting. I couldn't believe it. If I'm going to spend $60 on a speaker, I might as well get a portable speaker and just connect it to my TV with bluetooth. I will be returning immediately.

This is a great product at the price point. Real value. You have the ability to change the sound by switching from news, movies, or music. This really helps me because my hearing is not good at high frequencies. For instance I can switch to news when watching a movie. This helps drowned out all the background noise and music they always put in movies. Makes it easier to understand what is being said. Nice looking to boot. The remote at a distance of 18 feet it works really well. Black really lets it disappear visually while the display tells you what setting your using and gives you feedback when adjusting. Clean, neat and compact with great sound adjustment not just for TV but also music with bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and RCA. Sound bar also has buttons on top in case of lost/misplaced remote!UPDATE: great customer support. I called them up had a small issue and they are fixing it. They replaced it free of charge, great company!

While the treble is fine and conversations are crisp, bass is almost non-existent. Makes no difference whether bass is set to -3 (min) or 3 (max). Will return the product.

When I first received the sound bar and hooked it up with the RCA cable (I did not realize my TV had an optical port) and the lowest volume seemed too loud. I nearly returned the sound bar. But then, I moved my TV to a new wall mount in a different location in my living room and used the optical cable this time and the volume level seemed much better with it. The sound did not cut out at all for the first couple of weeks, then all of a sudden I noticed that the sound would cut out intermittently, a word here and there would just be silent. I tried adjusting all of the controls on my TV to see if it was the cause, but nothing worked. When the sound is working it is great, rich sound, clear dialog, but when it is not working well it, is very frustrating. I have to use closed captioning if I don't want to miss anything being said. It is still better than my TV speakers, but disappointed in the performance.
