Premium price with sub par quality...
Let's be clear. I wanted to give a feedback greater than 1 star, but the cost and timeline will not allow. I purchased the Zyppah mouthpiece November 2019. I didn't tell my wife who desperately needed it to work in an attempt to see if she notices a difference. She didn't say anything, but was sleeping back in our bed and she was not tapping, hitting, or nudging (waking) me any longer! I guess it was working.?!What's great about the mouthpiece is the fact that it pulls the mandible (jaw) forward and holds the tongue in place. What's terrible about the mouthpiece is the fact that it pulls the mandible (jaw) forward and holds the tongue in place. After using the mouthpiece for one day, my jaw and bottom front teeth were so sore that I had to put my Philips Sonicare toothbrush on the low/sensitive setting and turn down the water intensity on my Waterpik. I typically read a lot of reviews before purchasing anything, which is why I was not alarmed after the pain. I continued to use in hopes that the pain went away. Although the pain did not go away, it did subside and become manageable enough to want to continue using. The website says, "With normal use, your Zyppah should be replaced every 3-4 months. If you grind your teeth, you may need to replace it more often."The self-molding material is great at first because its sticky, which helps keep the mouthpiece in place while you sleep. As time goes on, the self-molding material pulls away and up from the corner edges where the tongue strap is located. The tongue strap also stretches over time and does not hold the tongue in place as well.I remolded the mouthpiece several other times in an attempt to make the mouthpiece more comfortable or reattach the self-molding material. This worked for a short period of time, but I found myself needing to do this every couple of weeks. Before I forget, you will drool A LOT! Unless you can manage to keep your mouth closed the entire night, its going to happen. I typically do not drool while I sleep so it was extremely alarming to wake up in the middle of the night with what felt like a pool of saliva on my pillow. Grossed out, I flipped my pillow over and went back to sleep. The next night I changed my pillow cases and wrapped my pillow in two towels to help absorb the pooled saliva.Initially I overlooked all the issues I and many others had because I and my wife was in fact sleeping better, but the mouthpiece needs to be upgraded with better quality materials and details to the self-molding material. For the $99.95 price tag, I believe the company can do a better job with the mouthpiece materials and construction. Knowing there is a market of desperate people needing snoring relief, but putting out a device that lasts only 3-4 months top at a premium price tag ($400-$300/year) says a lot about the company. I almost purchased another mouthpiece after mine lasted 2 months before my wife started nudging me due to snoring, but I decided to research some other devices.I don't mind spending a premium on a product that works well, lasts, and is made well, but the Zyppah mouthpiece fails on 50% of my criteria.

It absolutely works better than any other mouthpiece
I see the negative reviews as you do, but most people I suspect didn't give it a chance. This thing takes 30 nights to get used to. Period. If you give up in two you lose. The first night it will hurt your tongue. And feel weird. Get used to it. Surprisingly you will and in 30 nights you won't even know you have it on. It does totally stop mouth-borne snoring by forcing the jaw forward and holding the tongue down. Totally works. I have used it for two years (on my 4th unit now as they do wear out). Nothing else helped the snoring at all. This stops it dead. If you give yourself a chance to get used to it. I have recommended it to many friends as well and it has worked for them, again given 30 nights. I gave it 5 stars for comfort but you won't feel that way on night one. You will think "this guy is crazy". But in a ninth you will feel it's totally comfortable. So, I am rating it after you get used to it. Had other mouthpieces for years and they work ok, but the tongue eventually falls back to the throat and causes snoring. Thats the purpose of this unique design. It holds the tongue down and that make sit work (in my case) 10X better and more consistently than the ones without the tongue depressor.

Does not fit all. So disappointed that they don’t have any type of return policy not even partial.
This mouthpiece is not for everyone. I went through the process, tried fitting it and the way it shaped it does not have any movement for the width of your teeth. It’s definitely uncomfortable hard to get used to. But the way that they make it is just too narrow for the back of my teeth, which caused issues With the tongue depressor and I tried to use it for a few nights and it wound up cutting the inside of my mouth because it has very hard plastic and it’s not smooth. The tongue depressor broke off during the nighttime and I almost choked to death on it. I’m just so disappointed that I couldn’t get a return or even partial return for an item that Didn’t work at all. And I think it may help but because they don’t have sizes and this is just too small for my mouth. Put us in a bad position to do something. I never do. This may be the first review I’ve done. I just think They should give you partial credit or something when a product is supposed to fit all or most and doesn’t work. I’m just so disappointed in this company. I thought I was going to have an opportunity to try something and wound up, causing me to lose sleep and wake up, terrified and gagging. If you have any dental work or your mouth is bigger than most. Do not buy this product. I would review the product for what it was intended, but I had no opportunity to do that. Just a bad experience. It was just a waste of money.Buyer beware.

Didn’t work out but customer service was good
Didn’t work out for me. Caused over-salivation and drool even after several weeks. I’d give it 1 start but added a couple more because the customer service is good — return policy was honored without question.
