If you don’t know, this is basically a clone of the original Sound Bullet which was made by an Independant company and has now been kinda knocked off by xvive. That said, it’s pretty well made, a great price and if you weren’t going to afford the real deal this a great option.

I use my Xvive AT-1 cable tester all the time, and it’s been an absolute game-changer in my workflow. It’s quick, accurate, and easy to use—exactly what you need when troubleshooting on the fly. The build feels solid, and it gives me confidence that I’m getting dependable results every time. I’m really glad I purchased it; it’s one of those tools that just makes life easier in live production and saves me from headaches before they start. Highly recommend it to anyone working in audio.

Small learning curve and quirks for anyone used to relying on a QBox for all their audio needs. Best feature is probably the XLR testing, IMO. More compact than a QBox which makes it easier to carry around. USB charging is nice but can screw you if you don't have a QBox handy if the AT-1 dies on you. Biggest drawback (compared to QBox) is probably the fact that you can only send tone via the male connection (OUT) and listen via the female (IN) whereas a Q can send/listen via either connector. Essentially a "poor man's Sound Bullet," I bought this for the convenience of keeping it in my pocket while setting up a gig...with my QBox handy as a backup.

This tester helps me check the condition of my audio cables easily. It has a lot of features that make it useful in a number of situations. It is well built and completely made of metal. The built-in battery is very nice to have. This is useful to have in the studio or on the stage. It has a built-in speaker so you don’t need to carry headphones with you. I will definitely be keeping this in my tool bag.

This is an amazing tool! If you work with audio, you need this. It’s great for on the spot troubleshooting. Check your XLR cables, your snake channels, etc.

Bad service. I live in Spain and I bought the Xvive AT-1. On the fifth day of using it, it developed a manufacturing defect. I contacted XVIVE customer service, and they told me that since I don’t live in the USA, they can’t help me. Oh! And that a new version is coming out in 2026 in case I want to buy it. What’s wrong with you? After admitting that it’s a manufacturing defect and giving me no solution whatsoever, you finish by telling me to spend more money on your defective products… SHAMEFUL.
