I've never done one of these kinds of masks so I was super excited. My husband did it with me and he agreed, taking it out of the package, it just felt like a leveled up mask. The jelly consistency is interesting but only cuz it was our first time. We didn't want to sleep with it on, but after wearing it, I can see how others might. If you want to sleep with it, I suggest applying 1-2 hours before bed. After an hour, it was stuck to my face. It was not going to budge, hence why I can see how some might choose to sleep with it. I did get a tingling sensation on the bottom half of my face. It didn't burn so I just brushed it off and hoped it wasn't an allergic reaction. It was mainly around my mouth where I have some eczema so I think that was the cause. My husband noticed some bleeding on his face since he had just shaved earlier in the night, so while he didn't feel tingling, he thinks it did irritate any cuts he had. He didn't feel the cuts tho. The tingling I felt did stop after an hour. It felt like the tingling you'd feel in a lip plumping gloss. My husband's mask was absolutely clear by the time we went to bed. We think because maybe he has larger pores. My mask was probably at about 85-90% absorbed but I didn't want to sleep with it so I took it off. Came off effortlessly. I was reading more reviews while we had the masks on, and next time, we would cut the masks as needed to help it lay flat. My husband might even cut his to be 3 pieces since his face is larger. I'd love it if these came in a larger bulk pack. A bit pricey but these would be nice as like a treat once or twice a month, maybe once a week if you don't have to share lol
