New Balance Fuelcell Supercomp Elite V4 Running Shoes

These shoes are absolute BANGERS! Easily my favorite plated long run shoe. Comfort for days. The cushion to energy return ratio is perfect for paces under 6:30/mi. I ran a half marathon in them back in March and I felt totally supported and protected the entire time while also having enough speed to get a major PR. These are the shoes I've chosen to run my Marathon later this year and I feel totally confident in saying they are a fantastic option for middle of the pack runnersaiming for a 3:30 finish.

Have completed a half marathon and a 10K with these. Very comfortable, no undue rubbing and no potential blistering. Did one 5 mile training run prior to the races with these and found there was no break-in required. I plan to use these for racing only and will use them for an upcoming marathon. These are my first elite running shoes so not sure how they compare to the Nike Vaporfly/Alphafly but am thrilled with the V4's

The tongue of the shoe, yes, pretty garbage. Going to blister near the Achilles as well, based on the design of the shoe. Pros: propels you forward based on the design—light, but not the lightest carbon plate shoe, but still very light. Good support for heel runners; the color and design scheme look flashy, but not too much. Overall, a good starter super shoe compared to Nike's quality.

My wife and I both ran a marathon and several other long runs in these! They are comfortable and durable for a race shoe. She chose them over her Alphas last race.
