10W Super Slim Aquarium Fish Tank 5730 LED Light Clip-on Lamp Aquatic Plant Lighting (White Body White+Blue Light)

Pros: SUPER BRIGHT: Its ridiculous how much light this puts out. I could not believe the level of brightness it produces at only 10 watts. PLANTS SEE TO LOVE IT: I've had this for one day and my baby tear plants seemed to stand up straighter after an 8 hour light cycle. NOT TOO HOT: Does it stay completely cool? No. The unit itself does get warm but oddly enough does not heat up the tank. I have mine pretty close the live moss and plants in a very small terrarium and the temperature seems to stay at around 78 degrees which is perfect. The plants are not showing any signs of heat stress even at 2-3 inches from the LED's. SLEEK DESIGN: The unit itself looks very modern and goes perfectly with white furniture. Compared to other lights its has futuristic look which goes well with contemporary apartments. Cons: NO BLUE SETTING: Although this light has blue LED's, they are there to produce a full light spectrum when turned on. There is no way to just have the blue LED's on without the white ones. NOT DIMMABLE: Since the unit is exceptionally bright, it would be nice to be able to tone down that brightness. During the day is great but if you plan on using it after hours its going to light up the whole room. This light surpassed my expectations in every way. To be able to place a light so close to living moss and plants with out burning them yet giving them an insane amount of light was very rewarding. Specially for the price. Give it a try, I love mine and will continue to buy more for future projects. Hope this helps.

I looked through a bunch of different options when ordering and read lots of reviews, many of which were negative. I ended up choosing this option because I have live plants and it offered the blue lights. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but was extremely impressed with the product. I almost felt sorry for my fish when I turned the light on, like when someone turns the light on when you are sleeping haha. I have a 10 gal BioOrb tank and had to switch to this other tank that needed a light while the other tank was fixed. This light is definitely better than the light that comes with the BioOrb tank. I’m staying with this tank instead of my BioOrb for a while to not put stress on the habitat. I’m excited to see if the blue lights make a noticeable difference with my plantlife. I will post an update later on.... Plus arrived Saturday when wasn’t supposed to arrive until Monday. More than pleased. Thank you.

Only for rimless tanks (close to wall outlets). This light seems to work fine (fairly bright), but it cannot be used on a tank with a rim (every tank I've ever had). I tried to use it to light my HOB filters that I have some live plants in, but it can't even clip onto most of them. So for everything I've tried to use it for, it either can't clip and I'd have to use a bunch of duct tape to get it to stay where I want it, or the cord won't reach to an available wall outlet. So, for me personally, this light is almost useless. Could work well for someone else (with a small, rimless tank).

I bought this light for our 4 gallon planted shrimp tank and didn’t want to spend much. It has done a great job at not only looking sleek but keeping our plant alive and red. I’ve had it for over a month now, use it every day and have had no issues.

this has a LOT of light output and practically no heat output! I have to keep the run time fairly short, I was running it on my 3.5 gallon tank 10 hours per day and it did a GREAT job at growing TONS of algae. The Anubias plant in my tank is growing very well under this light.

Purchased 7 of these lights for my tanks and initially loved them. They are really bright and have a sleek style for rimless tanks. As of this review, 4 of them have stopped working within 5 months of purchase. I initially contacted customer support after the first 2 went out, customer support was great, and replaced both immediately, hence the 1 star. However, 1 of the "new" ones has gone out already (it's been ~2 months) along with another one of the original ones purchased. While I understand you get what you pay for, I've never had LED lights of any kind go out this quickly. My lights are all on timers so they are not staying on for extreme lengths of time. Not to mention that once I started using these lights, I wound up with massive algae problems in 4 of my 7 tanks which cost me countless hours and a lot of additional money to rectify.

I absolutely love this product, it was extremely easy to set up, and the lighting looks great. It’s not harsh or hot, which is important for my fish as he cannot thrive in warm water and this light doesn’t change my water temperatures! It also looks very sleek and modern.

Exactly what I was looking for and I'm buying a second one as a back up!! I have a couple betta Fluval 2.6 tanks And the light is somewhat on the weaker side and both tanks are Planted.. so needed a stronger light ...this fits ....and is very affordable.

It was good and bright. However, it stopped working a week past 6 months!

Like it. Wish it was lower to the aquarium because you can see the underneath. I bought the white for aesthetic reasons, now if the cord would be white I would rave it 5***** All over a good light for plants and I covered sections for the betta

Very bright white light but the clip is way to tiny and not too maliable
