Mod required for my Lanshan
These poles were just what I wanted for my Lanshan tent but it required a slight modification. These poles are 49 inches but the Lanshan uses 47 inches or 120cm. The ends of these poles come off pretty easy and you just need to untie the bungee cord and cut one of the tubes down by 2 inches with a hack saw. Putting it back together really isn't that difficult and once it's the correct length it works perfectly. I would caution that in a higher wind condition I'd most likely stick to using the trekking pole.

Just what I needed
I wanted poles for my X-mid tent in caseI didn’t want to bring trekking poles and these were less than half the price of the ones on the tent website.

Not suitable for a Lanshan 1 and other trekking pole tents.
Leanne Hernandez's review reflects my experience. This pole is not suitable for a Lanshan 1. I wanted a separate pole for the tent so I could use two trekking poles to pitch a tarp, but a tight pitch places too much load on this pole. A trekking pole can bear a lot more weight, so a trekking pole tent is not designed for such a thin pole. To be fair, the quality of the pole is very high. It bowed in my application, but it didn't break, and it straightened up with no sign of damage when I removed the load. I may find use another use for it. At this price, it's not worth returning. I'm withholding a star because the ad could be clearer about the potential for using this pole with other tents. I doubt that it works with any trekking pole tent, and the ad should say so.

A great alternative to trekking poles for trekking tents
These work great with my Onetigris tents. They pack small at around 17.5" x 2" dia for two sets.

Might break! I don’t trust it
Flimsy and bends easily. I’ve had it bow out real bad and feel like it might give out one of these days. Light weight but, keep a careful eye on it! Will use it till it snaps.
