Great shake and it does help with sugar control too. Taste is almost like a vanilla milk shake but be sure to refrigerate it and shake it well before opening for best taste.

I am wearing continuous blood glucose monitor and as type 2 diabetic I follow the effect of every food and activity in my body. I got good results with this product I believe they don’t lie and the name is holding water. I see there is no huge spike in my blood glucose after drinking half of this container. The key is moderation For diabetes management and treatment. For the other ingredients on label I would trust the manufacturer. This product has place in diabetes control by adding some flavor with least effect on blood sugar. This is personal experience and everyone respond is definitely different even to same input.

I got these beverages for my dad. My dad is always on the go through his job so these beverages work great for him he loves the strawberry ones.

It tastes fine -- at least the chocolate and the vanilla -- haven't tried the two other flavors. It has a reasonable amount of fiber. My only complaint is that the bottles are linked together by a plastic loop wrapper of the kind that most companies have stopped using because animals can get their heads caught in it (six pack rings). Plus I find it hard to get off. The other protein supplements I have tried all come in cardboard wrapper of some kind which works as well as the plastic rings, is easier to remove and does not have a risk of killing animals

Why I purchased it: to help control my blood sugar levels Pros: -taste really good (chocolate) -Fair price, a little cheaper than in stores. -seemed to do the trick with my blood sugar, i would take once a morning Cons: -I had on autoship and always would get canceled or go out of stock which was annoying I like to always mention I do not get paid in any way for leaving my reviews so I try to be as honest and helpful as possible since I make most of my buying decisions by reading others reviews.

I wake up hungry in the middle of the night, and years ago it occurred to me that one of these meal replacement drinks would conveniently take away my hunger pains so I could go back to sleep. I tried every brand you can easily get in the grocery store, and they all taste terrible EXCEPT for Glucerna. The chocolate one tastes just like chocolate milk, but I have come to like the vanilla flavor too, so I alternate between the two flavors. This is a great product to have on hand in your refrigerator if you need to eat something, but don't have time to fix some food.

The biggest problem I have with being diagnosed with type 2 adult onset diabetes is having to eat all the time to keep my blood sugar in check. This shake is the solution. I wake up, drink one, and I have the energy I need to go through my day. It satisfies cravings for something sweet. I can’t say enough about how good it makes me feel. Highly recommended!

This has been such a great help with hunger, and keep balanced until the next meal. We caught our grandkids drinking them because they were so good. That should tell you how good the product is. Costco stopped carrying It. Thankfully, Amazon is free shipping, and comes to my door.
