80V (770CFM) Axial Blower, 4Ah Battery and 4A Charger

dead out of the box. must pay for shipping to return, no option to get an exchange. have to put in a warranty claim on greenworks website. not the convenience i was hoping for. phoned greenworks canada. it was quick and easy, new battery on the way.

Summary: Greenworks is more powerful than my old Stihl BG 50 gas blower. I love everything about Greenworks except that it weighs more. If you do not want gas powered (mixing oil and gas; expensive repairs), but want power, I highly recommend this blower. Power- the Stihl was great for pavement but not strong enough to blow the leaves in the yard. Greenworks cleared the pavement and the backyard in 19 minutes. Turbo was a little stronger than high power, but high was so strong I did not need turbo. Weight- this is the only drawback. The Stihl weighs 8 lbs including gas. Greenworks is 11.5 lbs (including 80v battery which is 5 lbs). My wife tested it and said the weight was fine. Battery on the back does balance the rest of the unit’s weight on the front. Noise- the Stihl was 110 decibels on high so I always wore ear plugs. Greenworks was advertised 70 decibels but that must be low power (or maybe they measured three feet from the motor because that’s how far your ear would be). Greenworks on high, with the decibel meter next to the motor, was 100 decibels. Turbo was 110. On high I did not need ear plugs because it was not that loud. Battery- ran non stop on high for 19 minutes before it died. There’s a button on the battery that shows power level- push it while using the unit or with the battery removed. The charger also shows power level. The charger has a built in fan (I’ve not seen that before) so I charge it in the garage rather than in the house. Dead battery was fully charged in less than 50 minutes. Great features- Trigger allows any level of power, but there’s a switch that runs continuously on any of the three power settings- convenient because you don’t need the trigger. Press turbo on and it stays on until you press turbo off.

Reviews were right.... It's literally the most powerful electric blower I've ever worked with. The blower came packaged very well and it took like 2 minutes to put together. Simple as pie.... As far as battery time it is pretty good and also it recharges quickly. As far as value for money it is a little bit expensive but I'd do it all over again....... My only negative comment is that it is also the heaviest electric blower I've had. I took care of that by getting an inexpensive shoulder strap.

Product doesnt work as posted. Battery life is not as advertised

Great leaf blower with plenty of power. Once you get use to how to move the leaves with it work goes fast. On another note, it works very well for blowing snow as long as the snow isn't wet. Doesn't weigh much so easy on the arms. Since it is only blowing as long as you avoid getting anything into the intake cleaning the detachable blow tube is easy. There is another model similar to this one but I think it uses the 2.5aH 80V battery, that's what my Greenworks snowblower and string trimmer came with, they work much better with the 4.0aH 80V battery.
