Birthday Bundle: Funfetti Cake Mix and Aqua Blue Vanilla Frosting with Candles

This is a fun complete cake kit with everything you need down to the sprinkles (if you like crunchy topping on your cake). We got the Aqua Blue color, and wow! That is REALLY blue. We just did a thin layer on a sheet cake, and our tongues were all dyed blue after eating. I can see how this would be a nice color to use as an accent on a decorated cake, but alone it was a bit much. Remember the Smurfs? The unflavored spots of "funfetti" color in the cake itself were cute, they didn't change the flavor but added a little color to the cake. The flavor of the cake is vanilla, and the frosting tasted like a standard vanilla also, despite the blue color. The cake baked up light, fluffy, and moist. It tasted great!

This is a nice kit that you can make a cake for any celebration. Comes with the cake, icing, candy sprinkles, and candles. I have made this many times before and it is a good cake. Make fun cupcakes too. Petty complaint: Box came crushed. Other than that would recommend.

This package came just in time for a family reunion. I made mini cupcakes and a small cake for myself. The bright icing was a big hit with the kids. Good quality and very moist.
