Easy to take, good value for the money.

I used Slo-niacin 750mg daily for 4 months at dinner time, two years ago. It helped me loose weight. But it did create heavy flushing for me. While taking it I felt I could not drink alcohol, because it made the flushing worse. When I eat healthy, the flushing felt kind of nice. Also sometimes i would get dizzy when working out. So for me slo-niacin could only be temporary.I was missing the feeling and benefits of slo-niacin, so I tried smaller doses of both niacin and nicotinamide. I tried 100mg, 200mg, and 300mg of each. For me, with no particular health issues at the moment, I felt having 200mg nicotinamide at breakfast and 200mg nicotinamide at dinner felt great. I had less appetite, and craved healhtier foods more. Also it had a calming effect. I was able to drink a few beers a week with nicotinamide at this does and not feel any negative effects (for me that 5 beers total in 1 week, 1-2 per day, three days a week).So for me personally, nicotinamide is good for overall health. I like the skin benefits, mood calming, the feeling of liking healthier foods more, and appetite suppressant effects.In the near future I will likely reduce my 400mg per day to 100mg a day to see if it still has a similar effect, and then likely will move it up to 200mg per day. I try to just take the amount I need, and no more. Because taking too much of a supplement can deplete other nutrients.

This product was amazing the first time I ordered it. The second order on June 15, 2020 was not as good. Someone must have fallen asleep in the quality control department. My husband takes it daily per Dermatogogy recommendations to prevent skin cancer. This batch makes him flush. He’s taken it for a year and no issues but I ordered 2 bottles in June and he flushed for 30-60 minutes every time he takes it. The first bottle we bought did not do this. We ordered two bottles I. June 2020 and both make him flush. Please fix this issue. We can buy cheap drug store brands and flush. We paid a premium for this one and are still flushing.

I've just started taking these and picked these as they should be no flushing. I take them every other day as I alternate with other supplements with B vitamins. I'll update if I have anything to add.
