Thermomix is by far the best kitchen "gadget" I've ever owned. It's an absolutely amazing device that I use pretty much daily. This inexpensive add-on makes it even better! I'd been wanting to try out steam juicing for quite a while, but the regular stainless steel juicers are expensive enough that I never wanted to spend that kind of money on something that I may not end up liking. This accessory was cheap enough that I figured even if I didn't like the process, I wasn't out too much money. For my first try at juicing, I decided to just use a bag of cheap frozen berries that I got on sale at the grocery store. I assembled the Thermomix with the juicer in between the Varoma and mixing bowl lid. Dumped the frozen berries into the varoma. And in under 15 minutes I had juice flowing down the tube into a large measuring cup that I put next to the Thermomix. I let it run for the full 100 minutes, by which time the flow had dropped to almost nothing. In the end I came out with almost exactly 4 cups of really concentrated juice. I added some sugar and additional water and ended up with 2 quarts of mixed berry juice that my kids loved! The leftover pulp went into the fridge and I used it in smoothies over the next couple days. Clean up was a breeze...the instructions say it can go in the dishwasher but I just washed/rinsed it real quick in the sink and it came out looking brand new. If you've got a Thermomix, this is a really great addition. It's incredibly simple to use and has great results. And if you don't have a Thermomix...look into it. They are awesome!
