Why did you pick this product vs others?: As a member of the GreenPan kitchen team, I tested this product and I’m excited to share my review. I've never cooked in carbon steel cookware before, so I was very excited to try this product! I made gluten-free Pad Thai on my first try and it turned out amazing! The wok heats up fast, cooks evenly, and the shape makes tossing everything super easy. It also has a beautiful wooden handle that feels great to hold—and a hook so you can hang it up and proudly display it in your kitchen. As I cooked, the wok began developing a natural patina, which I learned is key to its nonstick performance. Watching it season over time made me feel even more connected to the cooking process. Cleanup was simple too. It honestly made me feel like I’m on my way to becoming a pro! 🍜💚 Ease of cleaning: Quick & easy rinse! Quality: Beautiful design & great to hang on display in a rustic kitchen. Heat distribution: Very even throughout the cooking process.

High Quality and Versatile Wok!!
As a member of the GreenPan Kitchen team, I tested this product and I'm excited to share my review. I made stir-fry with this carbon steel wok and could not be happier with the results! The wok is spacious and is perfect for mixing multiple ingredients at once. What made my experience even better was that it comes pre-seasoned, so I did not need to do anything prior to cooking. The nonstick patina made for easy cleaning as well. The food did not stick to the pan at all and wiped clean once I was finished. I could not be happier with this wok, and it will become a staple in my kitchen for years!

Rusts. Does not deserved a star.
Worst pan I bought. This is supposed to be pre-seasoned but it keeps on rusting every after use. I then tries, it, heats , and put oil on it like a cast iron. After using it 5x, I just permanently parked it. I thought I bought this from WebstaurantnStore so I could not return it. I just found out I actually purchased this from Amazon. I am pisse doff at myself and at this maker/seller! This pan does not deserved a star.

Amazing wok, beautifully designed with flavor that reminds me of home!
As a member of the GreenPan kitchen team, I tested this product and I’m excited to share my review. I've been looking for years for a reasonably sized wok that sat comfortably in my tiny New York apartment flat gas stove that could emulate homecooked meals I had growing up without a giant open flame or the hefty weight of the pan. Even if I moved to a new apartment with an induction or electric stove, I'm happy to know I can cook on any of those in the future with it! This Wok was able to heat up super quickly, made my fried rice super crispy but never burned my food. The handle was truly stay-cool, as alot of my previous pans I was always afraid to touch the handle after a while of cooking, you could tell that this Wok's handle was so well-made and never changed temperature. I have so many stir-fry recipes to make on this Wok this week, I'm super excited and highly recommend this for any first time Wok cookers! I appreciate that the instructions for taking care of this Wok were easy to follow and straight-forward as well. Honestly, if you love cooking and want a wok that’ll last forever, this one’s a no-brainer. Totally worth it!

The natural non-stick surface handled everything like a pro, even with just a splash of oil. Crispy veggies, tender protein, and zero sticking. Perfection. Pro tip: Don’t lose the care instructions. Seriously. Treat this wok like you would a cast iron heirloom—clean it right after use, dry it thoroughly, and give it a light coat of oil. Do that, and this wok will be your kitchen companion for decades. If you’re hesitating—don’t. Pull the trigger. This wok is a game-changer, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I would not recommend for induction cooktop
I've used this almost daily over the last two weeks. I was fairly impressed with the price-quality ratio here. It's light, easy to work with, and looks good. While it's advertised to disperse heat evenly and to work well with induction, the reality is that it's simply too thin to heat evenly. I can clearly tell where the hot area of the induction coil is, and the heat doesn't travel up the sides much. It functions as frying pan with really tall sides. If you have a gas stove, it would work great. For radiant electric stoves it would be ok. But I would not recommend this for an induction cooktop.

Sturdy, light and well made
Very durable and light weight. It looks heavy, but it is not - Unless of course you have it loaded with food. The handle fits firmly and it looked to be well made. It works well as I have made many a dish with it thus far and see many more in the future.

After the first two days of use, it stained . This is the third GreenPan, the first one I bought almost three years ago is still looking good. The second one I gave to my son who loves to cook. This one works very well but the huge stain after stir-frying is a shock to me. Can something be done?

Bad quality pan non stick came out in few uses.

This wok is listed as light weight, it certainly is not light weighted. This wok is very heavy!!!
