They are really heavy duty. I like them allot they are just a little wide for my taste. They are kinda like the boba tea straws. Either way they are worth the money and will never wear out

These are perfect for thicker liquids like milk shakes and malts. I don't do smoothies but that's what they're made for. A brush is included for a good cleaning and I like that they are reusable and easily packable when I travel.
